This perfume lives up to its name! The scent is very abrupt when first applied, but after about ten minutes the abruptness softens. The sweet woodsy scent unique to Patchouli wraps you in its happy, carefree embrace. It lasts a pretty long time, but I wish it lasted all day. This smells like a sweet version of patchouli. The patchouli is definitely there, but there’s a sweet undertone to it that I don’t love. I’ve been using Sunshine Spa patchouli perfume oil for over 20 years but it is very, very hard to find. The SS one is everything you could want in a patchouli oil, dark, pure, and long lasting.
