  • Best Garden Hose Ever
Size: 50ft
I have owned a number of Garden Hoses over the years, and this particular hose is by far the best one yet. It is constructed from light weight and extremely durable material. Thus far it has been a pleasure to use around my home, as it is tangle free and all of my attachments are very easy to remove and change as needed. Storing it too is much easier then my last garden hose, as it wraps so effortlessly around my hose wall rack. I hope that it lasts me for some time. Thank you, J-PRN ... show more

  • EXCELLENT CHOICE
Size: 50ft
very lightweight and easy to control. just a FRACTION of the weight of other hoses. don't know about durability yet but suspect it will last a while and provide good service.

Lightweight, well made and easy to use. Husband really likes it. It should last a long time but we have not had it long enough to give an opinion on durability.

  • Kind of An Odd Hose, But Handy - Had To Change Nozzle Though
Size: 50ft
We have a lot of uses for hoses at our house. We have large gardens and flower displays around our home in the summer time. This hose seemed like a good choice to try for one spot. Let's take a look. HOW THIS COMES This comes in a small box all wound up. It has a plastic nozzle on it and screws onto the faucet like most hoses with a metal screw on part. IS THIS LIGHTWEIGHT? This is definitely very lightweight. If you struggle with heavy hoses, this one will be really nice for you. COLOR The color is great because if you are using the hose and someone walks by they can see it easily. HOW THIS WORKS When you put on the water, the hose fills up and gets round. When the water is off, it is more flat. SURFACE AREA The outside surface area is a bit tacky to put it lightly. That means when you go to pull it around the corner, well, it might just decide to stick to a table leg or other object. That is kind of annoying. It might wear off as it gets more dirty. For now, it is frustrating at times. KINKING This hose does kink a bit, but it quickly straightens out so far. WHEN TO USE THIS This is best wound up with the water pressure is still on and then open the nozzle on it to release the water to make it more flat. It is harder to work with when the water is not in it. NOZZLE The nozzle was not working out- it just was too cheaply made. We had to change it out for a better one and it works TONS better. It is funny because the Sprayer/nozzle we had matches the hose perfectly- UNPLANNED- SERIOUSLY! THE BOTTOM LINE This hose is lightweight, easy to store if you get the hang of it, and if you get a new nozzle it works great. Just be prepared to deal with a few kinks and some sticking occasionally, but it is nothing horrible. MY RATING FOUR STARS. I like this better than some of the shrinking hoses which have to be sheltered and babied a lot. This one seems a bit more robust than the other one we had before. Time will tell. ... show more

  • Decent hose and nozzle. The nozzle took time to get used to
Size: 50ft
This hose works pretty well for pretty for my front and backyard. The reason being is that this can actually be extended out to both side of the house so I actually only need one hose rather than two. The product is actually able to be rolled up and stored. I will say that you should roll it up BEFORE you turn off the water as it keeps the hose from building up too much pressure from being rolled up. It is long enough to reach all corners and does not have any leaking issues that I can tell. The hose is made out of is really tough but flexible material. Be aware that when it is filled with water it does expand but it is harder to go around corners and can actually get tied up like a normal hose. The material is also a bit easy to get dirty. It is also has to collapse when it is filled so once you turn off the water be sure to flush the hose out to make it easier to collapse. I would normally just use a bucket and fill it up with water from the hose so I do not waste water. You can easily carry it to different locations around the yard. For me, I just leave it in my backyard (no thefts) and it can be pulled to my front yard without much issue. It can be rolled up those hose holders with the wheel. This also helps to keep it from getting tangled up when you turn the water on. The hose does expand slowly when you turn on the water and it does take sometime to expand to the 50 feet so be aware of this when you turn it on. Upon inspection, there were no leaks from the hose and the spray nozzle that it came with is pretty nice. It has several different settings so you get several different spray modes. You can easily switch between settings whenever needed. The nozzle does take some time to get used to so be aware of that. The reason being is that it is not one of those squeeze to spray. The pressure also feels a little weaker but not by much. The hose is made of green nylon feeling material so you can be sure it will not rip easily and looks like most garden hoses. Be aware though because of the material and color, it is easy to get noticeably dirty. This is also the reason why I do not like to store this inside as it retains water and dirty. It is just a hassle to just spray the hose down, let it dry, then roll it up. That being said, it can take some light damage overtime being bright color so it could get a faded green color overtime but the material is solid. You can easily go around corners and spray your garden or yard with ease but be careful not to get tangled or snagged on anything. Like a normal hose, if you get this tagged on something sharp you could pop a hole. This is honestly really nice to have for big yards and I can easily water my plants with less water because I can get close to the plant with this hose. Overall I think this is a pretty nice hose being able to expand out without worrying your hose is too short. The only issue is that it can be little messy to roll up as it loses tension in the material and it gets dirty super easy. The nozzle is pretty nice but it is a little weaker than your other hose nozzles. ... show more

  • Great hose, extremely lightweight, durable
Size: 50ft
To start off, let me say that although this hose is great, the higher-end FITT Force Tek is the way to go. It's actually $5 cheaper than this kit with the included nozzle, and frankly the nozzle isn't anything to write home about. The Tek is a full 5/8" diameter hose and has even higher-end fittings. It also comes in a 100' version. So, here's the review: We have a lot of landscaping and no irrigation system, so we have a LOT of hoses. And although I HATE dragging around the traditional hoses, I’ve never been interested in the expanding hoses because they wouldn’t last a week at our house. Enter this…thing. This hose is a combination of various material layers that allows it to lay completely flat like a ribbon when not in use. It is unbelievably lightweight - less than half the weight of a traditional hose. In fact, the box it comes in is barely larger than a lunchbox. It is SO much easier to drag around the yard and pick up after use. The fittings are very nice. Durable, lightweight, machined and anodized aluminum. I was a little concerned that flow would be affected due to the flatness of the hose, but as soon as water goes through it pops into shape, and it has roughly the same flow as any other 1/2" diameter hose. One thing to note, though. When removing from the box for the first time, make sure to pull the MALE end out from the center and don’t start with the female end like I did, or you’ll end up with a major mess. Turns out that’s written on the box and I just missed it. After using this for weeks, I’m convinced this is the hose of the future. It is stupid light and very well-made. I’m honestly shocked that these are priced comparably to traditional hoses. I intend to replace every hose we have with one of these. ... show more

  • Definitely lightweight. Definitely NOT kink and tangle-free.
Size: 50ft
This hose is impressively lightweight and flexible - the material is much thinner and lighter than ordinary hose material, and you can coil the hose up like a rope or may an electrical cord. The "non-kink" feature comes about because the hose material so so thin and flexible that the pressure inside hose is sufficient to straighten out any hard bends. So, you turn on the water, and watch the hose fatten up like a sausage casing, and voila no kinks. Then you open the nozzle, get a wonderful ten second burst of water, the pressure in the hose drops, and the kinks come back (don't worry, you'll find all that pressure again when you unscrew the hose from the hose bib). This will be a great hose if you're using it in a space where it can be mostly straightened out, or at least laid down in wide curves. If you leave most of your hose on the holder, and only uncoil it as needed, or if, like me, you leave most of your hose in a tangle in the driveway, and drag around the business end, this is not your hose. ... show more

  • Excellent for homeowners and RV's alike
Size: 50ft
This replaced a similarly priced, standard water hose. The difference in the weight and maneuverability between the 2 hoses is significant. This hose is much lighter and much easier to maneuver than a standard hose, it's also higher quality and more durable than those expandable hose options. Before the first use, you'll want to lay out the hose and run water through it (this is necessary for any new hose). Once you've laid it out and run water through it, you can can stow it on a hose rack/stand and only take out the amount of hose you need for a task without issue. I have not had any issues with kinking or tangling. Because it's drinking water safe, light weight and compacts for easy storage, it is an excellent option for RV owners. The manufacture backs this hose with a 5yr warranty, but I wouldn't put much weight in that. They all fail eventually, and many come with a lifetime warranty, but I've never made a warranty claim for a failed water hose and don't know anyone who has, so I'm not sure how that would even work. When comparing with other high quality, similarly priced, standard water hoses, this wins in every category, but durability/longevity is still to be determined. The included nozzle is also very nice. It can produce a very fine mist or a powerful jet and the pressure can controlled and set at any position (like cruise control) using your thumb rather than a trigger. Only issue I see is that those with limited hand strength (arthritis, etc...) may find the thumb control difficult to use, but for everyone else it works well. Additional thoughts: I have both this medium duty 100ft hose, and a 50ft light duty hose from the same manufacture (same style). In my opinion, the medium duty house is the better option for most home owners. The light duty hose is suited for applications where it will be stored most of the time and only taken out when in use (like for car washes or weekend RV trips). ... show more

  • Developed a Leak Quickly
Size: 50ft
[Update: dropping to 2 stars because it developed a week within 2 weeks of going into service.] I've usually purchased heavier, more rigid hoses than this. At least, the hoses I've used took up more room and didn't collapse flat than this one, which starts out with the hose flattened instead of having a circular cross section. Which is nice, as it is easy to carry, although it can be easy to tangle. The nozzle is pretty easy to use, with a thumb valve to open and close the stream and a variety of spray modes. Be prepared for some blowback in misting mode, but the others are useful enough, but you will likely keep it in shower mode. The valve works well enough when off it is off, when on it is on. ... show more

  • Flat to Round
Size: 50ft
This is much lighter than a traditional hose; making it more manageable, and flexible. Since this is flat, when not full of water, it rolls easier and stores nicer. We have a ton of landscaping and adding more daily (lol). Our weather is really unpredictable, so I have to be prepped to water everything, everyday. I pull this to the end of the yard and work backwards toward the hanger...less work for me. Durability is usually an issue with water hoses but, I have not noticed any cracking- will update if this changes. ... show more

  • Good expanding hose
Size: 50ft
The FITT Force Lite KIT garden hose isn't like the hoses that contract when the water is turned off. This hose expands up and out instead of back. I use this with an automated watering system for our front lawn and it's worked great. The green and black sort of blends in with the lawn but it's visible enough so I haven't hit it with a lawn mower yet. This hose has worked great for a few weeks. ... show more

Size: 50ft
This is lightweight and compact when stowed. I'm keeping this in our RV, not to use as our fresh water feed, but for general use when parked. The ends are plastic but more durable than the cloth expanding hoses we've had. This is definitely a light duty hose, and has done well for us in the last few months I really like the spray nozzle. ... show more
