This watch is an incredible value. Nice looking apple watch dupe, fully waterproof, (i shower with it on and swim) excellent heartrate monitor. One can set their own daily baseline mileage, step, and calorie burn (cals burned ON TOP of BMR) and the watch accurately tracks your data based on movement for mileage and impact for steps. The watch combines real-time heartrate data and steps to give an accurate calorie burn estimate once youve set your sex, age, and weight in the app. Im very active and this watch has been the missing link for tracking accurate calorie burn/consumption when cutting fat for me. It makes all the difference between religiously following one’s previously laid out meal plan to your own detriment VS eating that slice of pizza (or cup of oatmeal) when youve hiked 8 miles and can afford it while still maintaining your calorie deficit. The watch has been razor accurate on my sleep data, HR data, and step data. It must be worn TIGHT to get an accurate heartrate monitor in real-time. LCD display is low-tech, but adequate. This is not for you if you’re expecting advanced functionality and apple watch advanced functions. Come on people, its $35. I’ve checked the heartrate monitor while spinning against a polar chest-HRM and it was 1:1, but i still use the polar when doing cardio. I hike frequently and steps and mileage have matched perfectly with posted trail distances. Watch can receive SMS and change tracks on Spotify. Those are the only phone connections i use besides the app. I am anti-tech during rest times so i do not want to receive calls or texts on my watch when i have quarantined my phone on airplane mode in my living rom to charge overnight. This watch is perfect for me and for people with similar preferences. It took me a few minutes to find the right app in the app store, and i downloaded the wrong one first- but the correct one is called “veryfit pro” with an orange icon. You MUST sync the watch MANUALLY at least every 7 days or you will lose representative activity data in your app graph. Once you have synced it it stays forever. This is the ONLY downside of the product IMO. However, if youre paying any attention at all this shouldn’t be a problem. This watch has solved all the complex issue of managing changing nutrition needs flexibly while maintaining fat loss on a cut when activity levels can be drastically different from day to day. This Fitpolo IDW19 is and unbelievably complete package and a great deal. I had an earlier version of this that I liked, but this one is packed with features. All of the features I have utilized so far appear to work accurately and are very simple to use. The watch is loaded with help and medical/exercise information which was one of my criticisms in the earlier version. I has virtually everything my wife's much more expensive Fitbit has, and basic tracking of steps appears much more accurate than hers. I would like to address one issue before moving on with this review. After purchasing this product, I learned that they will give $15 bucks if you give a review. While some may see this as a positive, I have always frowned upon this, as it may influence users to give positive reviews when it's not merited. I did not take this, as i want it to be known this review is not reflective of any rewards they give for giving reviews. With that said, moving on... This watch is actually quite good for the price. You do get what you pay for, and then some. It's very accurate with the step counts and heart rate. The sleep cycle seems to know when i am asleep and seems to know when i am in deep sleep. How accurate this is, I have no idea. I have nothing to compare it too. But it does seem to know when i am asleep. Using the watch for notifications: It's hit or miss if you will get messages, be that facebook, mail or whatever. My watch worked great for the first few days with the notifications, but has seemed to stop after just a few days of working. This is not a big deal for me, as i more wanted it for the health monitoring features. These are just my experiences with it, your results may vary. The quality seems good with exception to the band. It just feels flimsy.It hasn't broke on me or anything, just saying that if it should, It wouldn't surprise me. I wouldn't wear this in a industrial setting at all, but rather for your personal time. It is water resistant, as i have showered and done dishes with it without issue. The app that you will download to your phone is quite good. I actually like it better than googles. That is saying a lot as i have been a die hard user of google fit since it was rolled out. In summary, Good watch, you get your monies worth out of it. Just not sure how long the band will last. I will update from time to time with any updates. Also, remember that some of these other reviews may have been influenced by the $15 bonus if you review it.
