  • Easy Set Up, Great Quality!
Configuration: Fire TV Stick 4K Max
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4k Max was so easy to set up! I was able to connect it to my TV and set up my smart tv in less than 20 minutes! I was so impressed by the ease and accessibility of this product. I have loved the setup of the Fire Tv remote which is medium sized and has all the features I needed on my TV! The Amazon Fire Tv Stick works quickly, and I am able to access all my favorite streaming networks easily and consistently. I’m considering buying another Fire Tv Stick, just to use while i’m traveling! The interface was easy to navigate and I loved the Alexa feature on the remote. Overall, I have had a great experience trying the Amazon Fire Tv stick! Would recommend anyone who wants an easy interface, efficient, high quality, tv experience! ... show more

  • I’m A Long Time Roku User, And I’m Very Impressed With My Fire Stick 4K Max!
Configuration: Fire TV Stick 4K Max
I love Prime Day, I always end up buying more stuff I don’t need. This time though, I got something I didn’t know I did need. I have 3 TV’s, one is an old Sony XBR55 I bought new in 2007 for like $3800. Yep, TV’s were stupid expensive back then. What a waste of money. Anyway, so it’s a “dumb” tv, I bought a Roku stick for it a while back and was impressed with how such a small device you could hardly see tucked away on the back of the tv could make such a big difference in modern use ability. The TV is old, but it still has a beautiful picture that rivals todays TV’s in many ways so I didn’t want to just chuck it when I bought a 65 4K for my new living room tube. My bedroom TV, a 46” Sony 1080 LED is a earlier gen “smart” tv. Barely smart, so I bought a Roku ultra for it a few years back. It has served me well, but Roku always have been a bit clunky in the software stability area. My 65 Sony is a 2021 modern smart tv with google TV. It works pretty good out of the box for streaming, but something about it makes it drop shows in mid watch a few times too many for my liking. Soooo… Enter my Fire Stick 4k Max. Prime day 24.99, for the specs these have it’s an incredible buy. I can’t believe how simple setup was. It was linked to my account so Wi-Fi connection, Prime Video etc were already good to go. Disney+, Max and Peacock were good to go in under 5 min. Now on to streaming. Wow I’m impressed by how snappy this thing is, it loads very fast. It transitions fast, and the colors are excellent. The picture is better than I’ve ever seen with my $100 Roku Ultra. Zero drops, lags, etc. I honestly see no reason to spend more on the cube unless they bring out gigabit Ethernet for it because this may not look as good on paper spec-wise but I highly doubt anyone would tell much of a performance difference between this $25 stick and that $110 cube. It’s noticeably faster and more stable than my Roku ever was. With these mounting on the back of a TV they are also clean installs. YMMV with the supplied usb cable though. I will unfortunately have to buy an extended length at some point so I can clean the install/tuck it into my cable management bar behind the TV that runs to the floor outlets. I’m so impressed that I am going to buy one for my other TV’s as well. I’m done with Roku. These are cheaper, faster and better picture. Also the remote is a vast improvement over the Roku remotes. I’ve had every Roku since the 2nd gen and I can tell you that every single remote has been a glitchy irritant at some point or another. The Fire remote is very tactile and it’s sensitive but not obnoxiously so. The Fire Stick OS is pleasant and easy to adjust to coming from the Roku ecosystem. Now if only they made Fire Soundbars. Highly recommended, even at normal price these are still a very solid buy for the performance! ... show more

  • Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max Review: Powerful Streaming with a Few Catches
Configuration: Fire TV Stick 4K Max
The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a streaming device that allows you to watch movies, TV shows, and other content on your TV. It supports 4K Ultra HD streaming with Dolby Vision, HDR 10, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos audio for a great viewing experience. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons to help you decide if it's the right choice for you. Pros: Excellent streaming quality: Supports 4K UHD streaming with HDR and Dolby Atmos for a great viewing experience. Fast and powerful: The new quad-core 1.8 GHz processor and 16GB of storage provide smooth navigation and app loading. Next-gen Wi-Fi 6: Reduces lag and buffering, especially useful for homes with multiple Wi-Fi devices. (Requires a compatible Wi-Fi 6 router to experience the benefit) Robust app support: A wide variety of streaming services are available, including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, and Apple TV+. Alexa voice remote: Control the Fire Stick and other smart home devices with your voice. Affordable: Competitively priced compared to other high-end streaming devices. Cons: No Google Cast or AirPlay: If you use these casting services frequently, you may want to consider a different streaming device. Amazon-focused platform: While it supports many popular streaming services, some niche apps may not be available. Limited storage: 16GB may not be enough for users who download a lot of apps and games. Overall: The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a strong contender in the streaming device market, offering excellent 4K streaming quality, a powerful processor, and next-gen Wi-Fi 6 at a competitive price. However, the lack of Google Cast and AirPlay support, and the Amazon-focused platform may be drawbacks for some users. Consider your priorities and streaming service preferences before making your decision. ... show more
