At first, the cats didn't really get excited over it, but once combined with another cat item I purchased, it changed everything. If your cat is not interested then place it under some light material- works even better if the tip sticks out and teases the cats.

This is fun and the cats kind of like it, they kind of just stare at it and are not sure what to make of it. Overall it's fun and has the rubbery attachment and the furry feather attachment but I wish the base stayed upright, when it falls over it kinda rolls around in an awkward way.

My cats love this toy! Especially under a light towel! My only concerns is that it could encourage cats to go after snakes. The toy moves in a very similar way. I don't have any poisonous snakes but people who do may way to be careful! Great toy overall

Occasionally catches, but this is the best "interactive" cat toy that I have. The rest are either too loud/scary/boring, don't work on carpet, or die instantly. Cat loves to watch it more than anything lol I'd say it's got 4 ish play sessions before charging is needed. Hair can build up, so check that out. It got caught in my cats fur once, but it was slightly moist (???? who knows why) and somehow managed to snag a fake plant along with it too. The media could not be loaded. I purchased this cat toy two weeks ago. I have two 11 year old male cats, and this toy is managing to keep them entertained enough, even when they start begging for treats, right after their meals. It's become a great appetite suppressant for them. As you can see I have tile floors. I don't think think the toy is noisy at all, even without using the rubber band they supplied, to dampen the sound. It works just as well on carpets. I like the toy came with both the silicone & plush material wands. The wands are easy to remove & replace. I especially like the plush wand, since I have a cat who likes to chew plastic, so with the plush attachment, I can let them play without having to stand guard, in case he chews on the silicone. ... show more

I keep waiting for someone to invent toys cats really love on a continual basis. The helicopter toy, is one and this is another! Kittens will play with every toy on the market, but cats need more to keep their attention and lack of boredom. Now if we could just get someone to get something that squiggles around like a snake or bug that can take more than one cat tugging at it... I'd think maybe someone who KNOWS cats can invent a toy that they will always play with. This is a great addition though, one they've broke the tailey thing down they lose interest. Those balls that continually run and bounce off everything is great at first but it's aggressive and not soft... so cats will get out of it's way and then follow it but they really don't interact with it because it is hard and makes loud noise when it smacks up into a wall or hard surface and if it runs into them it's not gentle, the concept is there but it was invented by someone who doesn't own a cat. ... show more

My cats absolutely loved this in the beginning, but now all they do is sit around it in a circle and watch it spin from a distance. They have learned if they get too close the spinning rubber bit will wrap around their fur and get stuck. Occasionally I have to chase a cat down so that I can detach it from their fur. I bet short-haired cats would love this more, but I have 3 long-haired cats ... show more
