Nice weight cloth in a size big enough (48 inches wide by 3 yards long) for a variety of uses. I wanted it to toss over the bed/couch to take photos of foster kittens. Because they move fast, you need a pretty wide swath to catch them before they move out of the frame. This fairly neutral color (mauve heart pattern) is good for photos because it doesn’t skew the lighting and provides an unobtrusive background for the kitty cuteness. This is one-sided fabric, which means you can’t let it flip over or it shows the white background. But at the same time, this totally obscures whatever is behind it. I can see this having value in the classroom for displays, as a divider over a removable frame, etc. The description says midweight but this is almost like upholstery fabric. Moderately good value when compared to buying heavier weight cloth at the fabric store. ... show more

As a preschool teacher, I am always looking for fast and easy solutions to make my job a little easier. Typically I use poster paper for my bulletin boards, but it is often hard to put up the boards by myself, and tears quickly because my boards are typically at eye (and hand level) of preschoolers, so they don’t last a long time. But then I found this! This bulletin board fabric is definitely a game changer (and time saver!) for me because this material is so durable and reusable! No running out to purchase new paper all the time, and I can leave my bulletin boards up longer, since the fabric doesn’t show wear as much with use like paper would. Chalkboard Brights Creative Class Fabric has a nice thickness, is super easy to hang up by myself, looks smooth when attached to the board, is less likely to rip or tear, making it a great value. Plus, it comes in a great 3 foot length that is perfect for my larger classroom boards, so I don’t even need to cut it! ( I will definitely be ordering more of this for my two smaller bulletin boards to further coordinate the look, I love it so much.) This is a nice piece of fabric, but what really impressed me is how it's cut and packaged. I usually prefer to buy fabric in person, because I want to know exactly what I'm buying. I've purchased fabric online that was poorly cut, too small, damaged, dirty, and even mouldy. None of that with Creative Class Fabric. This yardage is pristine, neatly folded, and shipped in a heavy zippered vinyl cover. It's cut with absolute precision, squared up, and exactly the right amount. There are no selvage edges and no fraying, so the entire piece is usable. I'm impressed. The fabric is a cheerful print done in pleasing colors. It is a medium-weight polyester with a weave that reminds me of artist's canvas. When I took it out of the package, there were fold creases, but it was smooth and unwrinkled after I washed and dried it. The fabric has a bit of stiffness, so I can see how it would be easy to apply to a bulletin board. I plan to use mine for some kitchen curtains. My only complaint is that more patterns aren't available! ... show more

This is a great, sturdy fabric that could be used for a variety of projects. It's heavy enough for even light-duty upholstery work. The measurements were exactly as noted on the packaging and I had virtually no waste when squaring it. I did find that the dots are not printed in exactly straight lines, though. Since the fabric is so sturdy I thought it would be a great choice for an eyeglasses case. I've been wanting to make one for my sunglasses and this was a perfect choice. (I also used a layer of fusible interfacing to give it more stability). I'm very impressed with this fabric and look forward to making more projects with it. ... show more

There is nothing bad and EVERYTHING good about this fabric forbulletin boards. First of all if was the perfect size for my large classroom board, I didn't have to cut or trim at all. Secondly it looks amazing, just like wood, except it's fabric so it's easy to put up and the push pins still work perfectly. I get compliments about this board all of the time.
