    • It is a great looking house at night
Besides what others are saying about the power supply and controller are not water proof, which I found it to be logical since most likely they will be plug somewhere indoor, so it is not a deal breaker, to me at least, this light kit is well made, and as far as I know, probably the only one with dual LEDs, one RGBIC and one warm white, so that you will get the true white vs composed from the RGB. The 3M adhesive on the light and clip are just unbelievably strong, so be careful when you position them, once it is on the wall, I really don’t want to remove it to avoid breaking anything. Some Eufy products are nice, this is one of them. I don’t think it can be installed within 30 minutes to an hour, unless you can stand on the ground during the entire process of drilling screwing, pressing the tape and cleaning ahead. It took me 10 hours because I had to climb up the stairs, get up and down that ladder, and move the wire between the beams put it on my house is complicated. But the end result is now Eufy owes me two referral fees. I had it up and running just this past Saturday night already in early Sunday two neighbors came and asked to give them the link so they can get it, just because they drove by Saturday night and stopped, and was in awe by this beautiful and unique permanent light. ... show more

    • Great lights fast install
Installed the lights the other day PERFECT! No install issues. Not sure why other has issues with 3m adhesive not sticking. You can’t install on cold surface or during cold weather as that goes with any adhesive tape. Needs to be above 60degrees. Surface MUST be cleaned and dry prior to install. I like these over Govee lights as there is a security feature that triggers when you set it up with your Eufy camera motion. I also like the AI capability where you just type in the app what you want and it creates a show for you! This product also has a dedicated white LED for soft all year round white and off white lights. Govee is $200 more for this feature. So all in all this is a more sophisticated system. I hope Eufy comes up with more lighting systems to pair with this! ... show more

Feel like Eufy released this with half baked features. Competition with same lights can do dance sequences and music mode which I don’t understand why Eufy couldn’t. AI mode is good but the transitions feel slow compared to what I saw people do with Govee lights. Power adapter being not outdoor rated is a roadblock for many. I got this due to connection with Eufy cameras. Hope Eufy can improve these quickly with firmware and software updates and bring to competition quality level and then it would be 5 stars for me ... show more

Edit nov 16 ***** Eufy support reached out to me as a result of the concerns in my review, and they were absolutely incredible to work with! I have updated the review to 5 stars as opposed to the original 3 because they worked to make sure I was as taken care of, and I really appreciate the time they took to do that. As a result, I highly recommend the lights because they are really nice and customer support is really helpful as well. :) Original review: *** The lights are super bright The power brick is not waterproof so you do have to buy your own waterproof container - while that is kinda a pain, I have other things that I plug in outdoors so I just bought a large waterproof container. That would be off putting to others though, and outdoor permanently installed electrical item… not waterproof Each strand controller also only supports 6 lights, and the designs you custom create don’t cross over. The customization aspect of these is pretty nifty and installation is super easy too. Meaning you buy three units and have six kids that you want to celebrate their birthday with their favorite colors: you have to set that up on each device. So that can get out of hand quickly. Hopefully an app update allows them to be shared with other devices. The app used is the EufyLife app. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The Eufy E120 permanent outdoor led string lights are my best Holiday decor purchase to date. I've always admired quality light displays. I was willing to invest quite a bit this year, but not the $3k+ I was quoted. I figured there had to be a way to closely match the look, quality and neatness of the track lights I really wanted for less. My daughter and I installed these in less than a full work day. I used the adhesive included and screwed the support clips about every other light or where I couldn't tape to a completely flat surface because of the grooves in the vinyl flashing. I thought I would need two extensions but came up with a way to neatly transition roof levels using cord covers and turning off the exposed lights I didn't want on. I opted for Eufy over its main competitor because of the ability to turn off individual lights and I didn't want to splice any. I expected to fall slightly short in length but because of the recommended placement 2-4" from the wall, I saved a good amount of space and the 100' worked out perfectly. The countless display options are fantastic and the ability to control the brightness through the app is a very smart design. The EufyLife app is super user-friendly. I've used a preset design for Veteran's Day and designed a custom display for standard nightly security lights. I look forward to getting outdoor Security Cams and syncing up the Eufy Security and Life apps to blink red when motion is detected. Only time will define how permanent these are.. So far Eufy has more than delivered and far exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to Christmas season. My outdoor decorations will be highly elevated due to Eufy. I haven't been able to sync or save schedules. I believe the controller is too far from my modem being plugged in my cinder block garage. It would be Awesome to use my Google Home system as a controller but not yet I hear. ... show more

Very easy to install. So far we have been learning how to program the lights and program multiple sets of 100 together. At this point, we are pleased with the purchase.
