Easy to assemble; you attach the arms to the body and the metal plate to the bottom, you snap on the wheels and then you slap the chair onto the legs. Very easy since it comes with a tool and all the fasteners. I partly assembled it and put the two main parts together in my daughter’s dorm. She’s around 5’4” and the chair is like an executive’s for her. Lots of padding makes it perfect for long hours of studying. It swivels 360 degrees and the height is adjustable. The back doesn’t recline but rather the whole chair tilts; you can adjust how much you want it to tilt back and it practically goes all the way back so you can still relax in it. I’m 6’ 280 and I sat comfortably in it and felt like it was very sturdy and not cheap. The synthetic material is quite supple and leather-like; after 3 months there area no signs of wear or fading though it is her primary chair that she uses for everything ... show more

As soon as I saw this chair, I thought to myself, that thing looks comfy and the price is reasonable. This chair is basically pretty much exactly like the average computer chair that is one step above the absolute most base and cheap model you can get. It is exactly like any other $80 computer chair that has arms on it and a higher back. The one thing that sets it apart is that it has a bit more padding on it. It is a little more comfortable than a basic computer chair. It is unquestionably more comfortable than a basic computer chair, but I don't think it's 50% more comfortable to justify the +50% higher price. I do like it, I'm glad I got this model rather than just getting a standard model that would have my rear end and back sore within 45 minutes. To be honest it's pretty good for the price if you compare it with other models. The price has gone up a bit since I bought mine. They probably raised the price when they saw the price tag for shipping from the west coast to the east coast on my order. Shipping must have been expensive for this thing for a 2500 mile trip. It has improved padding pretty much everywhere except the arm rests and the lumbar area. The padding is so much thicker on the shoulders that it makes it actually uncomfortable when sitting straight up in it because you have zero lumbar support because your shoulders are pushed out so far. Fortunately, it has a decent recline function. In my old chair you could recline so far you'd almost tip over backwards. This chair doesn't recline very far, which I actually prefer, and it has a decently strong spring to provide resistance when you're tilting to dampen the movement. The height adjustment travel is very minimal. It does not have much height adjustment. You're either almost on the floor, or just barely above the floor. The way it's designed makes it so that you're closer to the floor than I'd prefer. One really cool feature is the arm rests flip up. Which is great, because I typically don't use them, as I usually only use the chair when I'm playing VR sitting down. Assembly was pretty easy, it didn't come with any instructions that I was able to find. I don't know why but they included two shorter bolts than all the rest, which were all the same length. No clue where they were intended to go. I ended up using them for the arm rest, but to be honest I don't think it really matters where you use them. The bolt anchors were very securely installed from the factory. I was able to torque down my bolts very tightly, that is a quality that I appreciate. I actually had some cosmetic issues, broken plastic for one, some nasty burrs on some of the plastic holes. Not that I care about the burrs. The chair is rated for 250 lbs. I am closer to 280 lbs and it seems to be holding me just fine. I really like the white color. It is obviously not real leather, it's probably some sort of vinyl or faux leather. So to summarize, it's a decent chair, it's more comfortable than a basic computer chair, but not by a lot. The price isn't bad, especially when you factor in free shipping. If you want something that's not too expensive, but more comfortable than a basic computer chair, this isn't a bad choice. Especially if you want something in white. It's a good looking chair, no doubt about that. I rated it 4 stars. It definitely does not deserve 5 stars under any circumstances. It would have to be considerably cheaper to warrant a 5 star rating. But it's better than 3 stars. It's decent, worth consideration if it's in your price range. ... show more

Bought this chair less than a month ago for my husband for work. He uses it just for work and within 2 weeks it is broken. It’s leaning all of the way over to the side and cracks every time he moves. It isn’t a weight thing because he is under the weight limit. Very disappointed and wish we could get our money back. ... show more
