Excellent quality for the price
Size: 6.5 inch (Pack of 1)
Got a kit with a shaver, attachment and scissors. The scissors were bad though and I replaced them with these. They cut well and are comfortable. I can’t imagine the $250 scissors being that much better

This is very sharp. Cuts my hair better than all the others I have tried in the past. Glad I bought it.

Sharp, very nicely finished (except see below), attractive, cut well, and (after removing the inserts from the finger loops) fit my hand well. The tension adjustment is easy to use, precise, and stays once it's set. The blades are hollow-ground and set such that the tension variation along the blade
length is minimal. The blade tips are rounded enough that you're not likely to injure your "victim" if you accidentally poke them, but small enough to behave like pointed shears otherwise. I have 3 minor gripes: 1. The brass bits are uncoated, so quickly begin to show a typically unattractive brass patina I'd have preferred a non-tarnishing finish, even if it was the same color as the rest of the shears. 2. Both the finger-rest extension and the bumper between the finger loops thread into small holes in the finger loops. But these were not properly deburred during manufacturing; I needed to use a fine-tooth rounded riffler file to remove the resulting burrs from the inside of the finger loops. 3. I really wish one of the blades was micro-serrated like the shears these replaced. Really dense hair tends to slide a bit along the blade as it's being cut; it didn't do that with the micro-serrated shears. But for the price, these are really good. And I expected the brash to tarnish, and didn't expect micro-serrated blade, so I really can't complain much about those. But if I didn't already have a file suitable for deburring the screw holes in the finger loops, I'd probably have marked down one star for that. I like them well enough to have now ordered a second pair for cutting delicate fabrics.

Sharp easy 2 use and heavy balanced weight in the steel. Very easy to chop away! Cut is perfect unless I try to cut too huge a chunk of hair. Small sections are very easily cut.

Nice scissors, but overpriced for no reason. Would recommend another brand.

Cut hair pretty good even thick hair, but flimsy and pieces have gotten loose and fell off. I don’t mind because I don’t need professional scissors just to trim/cut hair and braids.

How to tell if you got a fake/counterfeit pair of scissors.*We're figuring the situation out & will update this when concluded.*
Size: 6.5 inch (Pack of 1)
When I received these scissors in the mail I could tell immediately that they were knock-offs without even opening the package. As you can see in the first picture the genuine pair is pretty slick looking: really clean cut sharp edges, small pointed tips, sharp black logo with the correct proportions
and font type along the center of the blades, the lotus flower has wide black bold petals that have a super fine line barely separating the petals, and tension adjuster and screw is all gold toned and pretty flat across the top. The second picture is the pair I received: the tension adjuster dial is silver and slightly domed and the screw head rounded (even though the plate and tension screw is gold toned), the blades are wider and slightly curved/domed on the top, the edges don't have those sharp clean lines, The tips are wide and flat. The logo has a slightly different font and proportions, the ink is a faded/sketchy gray/black, and the lotus flower has a lot of space between the petals with lots of empty space/thicker line separating the petals. The 3rd picture is of a genuine pair with the finger pads a sharp black with glitter specks in them, the bumper guard/stopper that separates the handles has a black rubber tip that is a little smaller than the nub that it sits on, the nub the rubber stopper sits on has a unique curve and angle setting that is sort of a domed square (hard to describe). The gold finger rest/rod that sticks out the top of the handle has a flat top with a small rectangular notch and a small rubber circle at the bottom where it attaches to the handle, the shape is like 2 funnels (the top 1 larger than the bottom 1) attached at the small ends creating a smooth hourglass shape that has a clearly defined angle where the top and bottom meet about 2/3 of the way down, with completely smooth clean-lined sides. The last 4 pics of the fake pair show that the finger pads are a plain flat black, with the bumper guard a clear/pale dome sitting on a totally flat topped circular base with the sides matching up. The finger rest has a domed top and a gently curvy hourglass shape with the skinniest part of the curve about halfway down the length. I hope that helps you guys. Thankfully Amazon has their satisfaction guarantee. I will be ordering another pair to replace these.

Very sharp and easy to use even after a year!
Size: 6.5 inch (Pack of 1)
I have thick, straight Asian hair and occasionally do small trims by myself. These scissors were a fantastic investment over the duller pair I had been using before. The difference is night and day - these cut the hair cleanly rather than squeezing it away which happens when the scissors are dull whi
ch makes for a less precise cut, and my hand doesn't get crampy and sore because the tension screw makes it easy to adjust how much resistance there is when cutting. My mom just gets a straight cut and I've started trimming her hair on occasion too, and she loves it! It's so, so much faster and easier than using scissors not designed for hair. I've had them for a year and they're just as sharp as ever, but I anticipate even if they do dull which they might depending on how often you use them and for what, I can probably sharpen the blades easily. All in all, a fantastic value and I would absolutely recommend it, even if you have thick hair.

Sharp. Humblingly, painfully sharp.
Size: 6.5 inch (Pack of 1)
After years of trimming my own hair with everything from sewing shears to children's school scissors, I finally did the right thing and bought a pair of scissors made for cutting hair. I was thrilled to receive these scissors as they seemed well-made and as sharp as reviewers had claimed. After givin
g them a quick try on a few uneven curls, I almost sliced my fingers when I absent-mindedly wiped them clean with my fingers. "I'll never be that stupid with these scissors again!" I vowed. I was wrong. Last night I impulsively decided to give a few quick snips to my bangs and snipped right through the flesh of a finger. I cannot vouch for how long these scissors will keep their edge, but I can unequivocally confirm, they are very sharp. Clearly I need to leave my hair trimming to more agile hands. Those are the hands these scissors were made for.

I am a 49 year old man with really long hair.
Size: 6.5 inch (Pack of 1)
I used to play guitar. I have always possessed flaxen ribbons of golden hair trailing across my neck, shoulders and face. When I played power chords, I convulsed my neck so my hair flailed around like the windswept tail of a majestic box kite. Years of thrashing my neck for several hours at a time ha
s caused multiple aural hematomas (a condition common in dogs) in which pockets of blood have accumulated behind my ear flaps causing dizziness, confusion and intense eye-withering pain as I now try and perform even the most mundane tasks like toothbrushing or combing my long beautiful tresses. No longer able to perform anything more than a simple ballad in my robust neck brace while carefully perched dead still on a specially constructed high-backed stool, I have opted to cut the fore curtain of hair fanning across my forehead and waterfalling down my pallid face. These scissors worked awesome.

I continue to be surprised at how wonderful these scissors are for cutting hair. Ever since the pandemic, I’ve been my husband’s barber, and with these as my tool of choice, I’ve become pretty good at it! A little cleaning and aftercare will go a long way with your stainless steel, so keep them oiled
when not in use and they should stay sharp for a long time! The tension screw lets me adjust the feel of the cut to just the right snap, and they are razor sharp to glide through hair.
