My cat LOVES this toy. We didn't put the stability feet on it, and she even loves it when it tips over and rolls around - sending the light in fun new directions.. The major issue we have is the battery life. The product description stated the battery life, but I didn't realize how annoying it would be. The toy runs for about 30 minutes, which I think is twice as long as it should be. And with the battery life being a short as it is, if we run it 2 or 3 times a day, I have to charge it every 2 days. Its easy to charge, its just annoying and inefficient how often it needs to be charged. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. So I wasn’t able to get a video of him really playing with it, only towards the end when he was getting pretty tired lol. But he really loves the laser feature on this but will get distracted by the streamers every now and then. He has pretty much destroyed automated toys in the past, knocked them over, accidentally turned it off because the button wasn’t hidden, etc. But this toy is still in good shape. The grips on the base really help to keep it stable. However there’s been a few times where he’s pounced and knocked it over. It’s pretty durable so you just have to pick it back up and it will keep going. I like the three different settings and how it will change its motion often or speed. He definitely does not get bored and it will play until it automatically shuts off, which is another great feature that other interactive toys don’t have. It’s relatively quiet too so you can have it on if you’re working from home or just watching tv. We try not to use it very often because animals can get a little frustrated when they aren’t able to “catch” the dot, but this can be mediated by giving them a treat afterward to make them feel satisfied. And, it comes with a cable to charge it so no batteries which is great. All in all, best auto interactive toy I’ve bought for him so far and I’m glad it will last. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My cat just turned 15. I will admit that I haven’t played with her as much in the last few years, life is busy and I convinced myself that she’s old and doesn’t need to play all the time anymore. Then one night she brought me a toy and started meowing at me and I realized she needs more playtime than I’ve been giving her. So I got her a new toy for the end of her trusty old fishing pole and she’s been obsessed ever since. So obsessed that she was driving me crazy, yelling at me all the time to play with her, all throughout the day. She can be VERY loud and very persistent. Shes pretty much the cutest thing ever but she’s annoying af. Enter this electronic interactive toy. It was my desperate attempt to get her to stop hollering at me all the time. It arrived last night. I set it up immediately and put it on the floor. I wasn’t super optimistic because she can be a bit skittish. To my surprise she took to it right away! She played with it on and off all day too, even with it turned off! It smacks her in the face a lot but she doesn’t seem to care too much. She doesn’t bother with the laser but whatever. Tonight when she started yelling at me as usual, I turned the toy on and she was happy. I am hopeful that this will keep her occupied when I can’t play with her as often as she wants me to. She is currently waiting impatiently for it to charge because she has already run the battery out. ... show more

    • Well made cat toy
I really like how it doesn't take batteries, comes with a charger and how it can do a full charge in 30 min or an hour- can't remember, but then it lasts 8 hours and has an automatic turn-off so it doesn't drain down the charge of the toy. It has 2 different ways to entertain the cats- very creative. The method for attaching to furniture is really nice in that it won't damage the furniture but I had a hard time finding something it would attach to. I ended up using a fold out wooden tv stand and that has worked out ok. I can also move that to different rooms to change things up. I had one cat destroy one of the feather toy attachments for the toys within a day but the stick/ wand that the toys attach to is fine. It's pretty easy to come up with your own light weight things to replace it whether it's yarn, string and even attaching a light weight plastic ball w/a bell in it. My only concern is if they break the wand, if those are something I can replace or not. ... show more

I bought this toy to help keep my cats entertained while I'm away or working. It was easy to put together and came with three ribbon/feather attachments. I like that it has three different speeds you can choose and that the rotations are random, so it does more than just go in a circle. It is chargeable by USB and seems to last pretty long between charges. I like that it shuts down after 30 minutes automatically but I wish it had an automatic start you could program as well. So far (after a few days) my cats don't seem too interested in the laser light but they do enjoy the ribbon attachment! One negative is it's not super sturdy so they can knock it over easily if they play too hard. I'm also afraid they will eventually break the arm that holds the feather/ribbon attachments, as it seems a bit flimsy, but so far they seem to love it! ... show more
