Each Premium Wood Privacy Screen Kit comes unassembled with 2 panels. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for assembly of these two panels. This screen is made from our premium 100% FSC certified wood. We are proud to offer products made from sustainably managed forest plantations. For staining, painting, and screen upkeep, we suggest staining this product every 6 months to maintain optimal color. If you choose to paint the screen, please refer to our staining and painting guide. Our no-dig installation system makes installing this screen simple. There’s no digging or tearing up your yard with unnecessary holes. If you have harder ground, we recommend wetting the ground that you plan to insert the panels into and then use a mallet to insert the stakes into the ground. Sturdy, tall, private. The hole locations on the base appear out of square causing the base platforms to appeared slightly angled. I repositioned the plastic glides on the bottom so to accommodate the porch overhang. Zip ties seems like its not moving. Assembly against a wall seemed best as directed. A small, battery drill and driver makes easier. The pre-drilled holes for panel attachment seemed slightly off center. I drilled a starter hole on the non-drilled surface for safety sakes. I'm okay with the quality and appearance but I'd give 5 stars if the hole locations were manufactured and inspected in a tolerance. ... show more

The packages (6) came in quickly and well-packaged. The instructions were well-written and easy to follow. The key to putting this together is to realize that it is a two-person job and to use a wall to push one side into while you put in the wood slats and the other side together. If you do this then it only takes 20-30 minutes to put one privacy screen together. It is a solid product with high quality. It gives plenty of privacy while making your area cozy! Incredibly impressed with the quality and value, and particularly grateful for the thought that went into the design, engineering, and even packaging. Everything you need, down to the wood spacers, drill bit, and even a hammer block, is included. All screws, spacers, etc are neatly packed in individual zip lock bags. Details like this are rare today so worth noting. Instructions claim assembly takes 90 mins but I had it done and installed in 20. Super simple and looks great. This was the perfect solution for some privacy on our deck. My husband put these together by himself fairly quickly. He did purchase bolts from the store to bolt product to the deck. Easy to assemble. I gave it two coats of exterior urethane before assembling so it would hold up better to the weather. Looks fantastic and provides the privacy we wanted.

We’ve been looking for a way to get privacy on our patio from neighbors who have a raised deck for their above ground pool. They basically stare at us from their perch and talk to us nonstop. These seemed like a great option. They are 5 feet tall above ground, which is fine for our plan to sit directly inside of them. When we sit further away we’re still visible. It took some time to put these together (4 total) but it was relatively easy. We reinforced with some additional fence posts to get them deeper into the ground and provide additional above ground support, since we get strong winds in our area. My only complaint is that on two of them, the top board split near the screw when we had to GENTLY hammer them into the ground, per the instructions. But we zip tied the split piece and we can hardly tell it happened. It was probably our fault and honestly I still give it 5 stars. I had to call customer service with one question and they were super friendly and helpful. For the money and not permanent solution (ie: no permits and tax assessment), I’m super happy with these privacy panels. ... show more

The finished product looks nice, but it was REALLY difficult to install. I enjoy assembling things, and this slotted screen looked promising. When I opened the box, it smelled so good! The instructions have a QR code to a YouTube video that shows how you just lay the slats alongside one of the side uprights, then just easily slip the other upright on, insert 4 screws on each side, attach the bottom stand, and you're done. The written instructions say to stand up the uprights and insert the slats. Neither of these approaches works easily. Whenever you slip one side of a slat into the pre-cut groove, the other side comes out, regardless of whether it's lying down or leaning against a wall. I finally went to the hardware store and bought some galvanized nails, got someone to help hold the thing together while I nailed in each slat on both ends, at which point I could insert the screws and stand. The finished product looks nice and sturdy. But what an adventure! ... show more
