    • Loved it until it stopped working

The versatility of this light was exactly what I wanted. Working from home, I needed a light I could move around so I have one mount behind my desk and one behind my headboard. This has been the perfect reading lamp, it’s easy to move between cradles, and the different temperatures and brightness settings has helped reduce eye fatigue when I’m working on my laptop all day. My only complaint is that it stopped working yesterday, just shy of 11mo after purchase. I’ve seen several other reviews stating the same issue. I’m unsure if the light is no longer holding a charge, or if some of the wiring came loose or what exactly the issue is, but I’m outside of the return window and will not be ordering another. ... show more

    • Beware of lock feature that prevents powering on

One of the pair stopped working after a month. Light does not turn on and the unit does not even charge when plugged in. Other than the one defective light. This served the purpose of a bedside reading light. I had installed the pair on each side on the bed. Update 9/5/2024: After several attempts I was able to turn on the LED light. It turns out that if you hold the power button for >5secs the lockout is enabled, preventing from powering on. Holding the power button >5secs again will disable the lockout. THIS IS NOT STATED IN THE MANUAL. Changed rating to 4-stars .. -1 for lack of mention in the manual. ... show more

This light was very easy to wall-mount and, once up, served its purpose well. I use it for an accent light for my coffee bar in my kitchen so I don't have to waste electricity by turning on my kitchen light. It has a touch sensor on and off button with 4 different brightness levels and 4 different light tones. It also comes with a second mounting plate in order to use in another part of the home.     • Difficult to control in a dim room

In order to find the ON button or function buttons I needed to turn on the main ceiling light because although I have the string lights around the walls of my room which are always on I couldn't see the buttons of this reading lamp so I tried to feel for them and found the ON button but to feel for the function buttons is quite difficult cause I kept gliding over the off button and switching the lamp off, I just couldn't do it, I couldn't see the buttons at all and because they are glide your fingers over them to work them, I couldn't search for them even in a dim light room, so I needed to turn on the main light to turn on the reading light, which doesn't make much sense to me, what would work on this lamp would be press buttons and/or knobs or even make the finger glide buttons white, come on they are the same color as the whole thing,, camouflaged ,,why? ... show more

    • Good reading light - stopped working after two months

Update 10/31/23: One of the lights no longer turns on when fully charged. Kind of disappointing that I put holes in the wall for this. Speaking of which, these come with tiny screws and no anchors, so if you want then to stay attached to the wall, you'll need to provide your own hardware. I wanted reading lights for my boys' bunk beds that didn't require an outlet, and I wanted them to have a timer so they would shut off on their own when used at bedtime. These are simple and provide good light, and they also come with additional bases for charging, which I appreciate since I don't want cords wrapped around their beds. The only thing I would warn other buyers about is that, like many other things I've purchased on Amazon, the adhesive is garbage. We should have just started out by screwing them into the wall instead of waiting for them to fall off and then doing it anyway. ... show more
