The media could not be loaded. Okay so this bike is pretty neat it's kind of got an old school look to it and feel. I kind of like that. Putting it together was a pain the instructions were not that good but I was able to figure it out and hopefully I can help you out. First when putting on the wheel in the front you want to make sure that you're putting it in between the washers and there is a washer with a little hook on it and that hooks into the bike there's a little slot for it to go into. You want to make sure that that's in there and then you want to tighten that down Second the rain guard is kind of tricky to get on it was really tight to get the screw loosened but in the picture you can see where it goes. So the rain guard of the front wheel it secures on both the left and right side of the wheel and then it also secures at the top to the bike access point. Also on that front wheel you want to put the little black shelf thing cuz it'll help hold up the front basket. It comes with tools for you so you don't necessarily need to have all of them however I did pull out my socket wrench to make this an easier job. Third when putting on the pedals there is a left and a right and you can tell that by looking at the part that screws into the bike there is either an r on it or an l on it to represent which side of the bike it needs to go on. And thread those accordingly and then make sure you tighten them with your wrench. 4th the basket is got an expanding fold to it so it like stretches the top cover part that took us a little bit to figure out. Then also there is a small bag of parts that have just a metal piece and then the screws those are to put the baskets onto the bike. There's one of them with a little bit of a bump in the middle and that is to go over the wire on the bottom side of the basket. Then when putting the seat on on the back make sure that you don't tighten everything down others is going to be difficult to get all of the nuts and bolts on. What you want to do is get them all at least started and then adjust it into place and then tighten it down. After that it took a while for the battery to charge I think we let it sit for a day and a half before we looked at it again. The seat is comfortable. So far the battery life has been going well. we haven't noticed any noise coming from the bike itself. Just the horn makes a weird beep beep sound and it's quite loud. It is my bike but my husband keeps taking it and writing it and I think everybody's having fun with it. I haven't had any issues with the wheels we just filled them with some air to get them to full PSI that they need to be and we've been doing good with it. I am pretty happy with this ebike so far. This bike came with a basket at the front and a rear rack, which are the main reasons for picking this bike. I have been thinking about getting an electric bike for a while because driving 2 miles to supermarket to get groceries and 2.5 miles to work is kind of a waste of gas and is hard on my car. But I also don't want to ride a bike manually up and down the hills, too tough to do physically for me. Also, most ebikes don't come with basket and rear rack. So when I saw this one I thought I give it a try. I haven't ride this ebike for more than 30 minutes at a time yet since there is no need for me to do so, my trips are all within 5 miles round trip, and my experience with the ride is that the seat is good, I don't feel any discomfort with it and the rides have all been pretty comfortable. I'm not an expert when it comes to the motor specs, so I'm not going to quote all the specs and say how good they are, I don't really care. All I care is that the motor in this ebike seem powerful enough as it gets the job done. I let it handle the uphill part and paddle leisurely on downhill and flat road, exactly the experience I'd expected, and that's good enough for me. I love that when I only needed a few things from the grocery stores, I can just bike there, put the few items I went to get in the basket and rear rack, and bike home. No need to wear and tear my car, save on gasoline bill (almost $5 a gallon for 92 octane gas here, which my car needs, in the "great" state of California), and get some exercise done along the way, I'm good and happy. Also, the battery is removable, and very easy to remove, so it can be charged either with the bike or out of the bike. This is a good feature since I've read a few news articles about safety of ebike battery, which doesn't give one total confidence in the batteries used in ebikes. I prefer to charge the battery itself on concrete floor, away from the bike, and out in the open in my backyard, just in case. The removable battery makes this possible, so that is a big plus. I have no complaint with the ebike itself, seem to be a pretty solid bike so far. But I do have to warn those of you who are not handy to either prepare yourself for some unwanted frustrations, or ask a buddy you know who are handy, to help you assemble the bike, because there is no assembly instruction in the box, and the user manual is of no help at all. Granted, I'm not a handy person, I complain about assembling IKEA furniture, so my handiness is quite low, and I accept that fact. Still, imagine my frustration when I open the box and there's nothing in there to show me how to assemble the bike. Yes, it came mostly assembled, just needed to put the front wheel, the handle bar, the basket and the rear rack to the mostly assembled bike, but it still wasn't a pleasant experience for me. If you want to assemble the bike yourself, be sure to watch the assembly instruction video in the product description. The instruction value of that video is just barely enough, but thank goodness there is that video, because otherwise I would have returned this thing out of frustration, it took me over 2 hours to assemble the bike. I know this is a me problem, but still... In any case, as far as the ebike itself is concerned, I'd say it is quite a good bike for riding around, is pretty useful, practical, and capable. Once it is assembled, charged and the tires inflated, it's all good to go, smooth sailing, nothing to complain about. Except for the assembling part.
