I purchased this to work on a secure work laptop, where I am unable to connect directly via Bluetooth. I use this for work meetings, at least 6 hours a day. I can hear perfect, and my voice is very clear to others. I have used other wireless headsets and always had to revert back to a wired headset. I've now used this for two months. The wireless feature allows me to move around the house up to 30 feet away through several walls. The company reached out to me directly shortly after my order to ensure I was satisfied, and we exchanged a few messages back and forth. That was a new experience and tells me a lot of their pride in their products. The headset is lightweight and the behind the ear piece keeps it secure. The ear bud rotates slightly to give a good fit. The controls on the earpiece allow muting of mic , mute of speaker volume and connect or power off. The base plugs into USB and will charge the earpiece. The base also has a battery so it can charge wireless. The earpiece can also be stored inside for travel. I'm an IT manager at a Fortune 5 company, saying this because while working with executives and developers having a substandard headset can cause unprofessional results. I'd gladly pay (and have) far more to ensure a quality headset. ... show more

    • Reliable and clear headset
I've gone through a number of other cheaper bluetooth headsets over the years without long-term success. A common way that those other headsets ultimately fail is that they'll get to a point after a couple of months where a few minutes into a conversation, the person on the other line will no longer be able to hear me. The battery is fine, and the bluetooth still shows that it's connected, but they no longer pick up my voice. This EKVANBEL Bluetooth Headset is much better. I've waited several months before writing a review because of my past experiences, and this headset is still going strong. Not only has it continued to work at a point when others have failed, but the volume is loud and clear, people on the other end say they can hear me clearly (MUCH better than my car's built-in bluetooth), it's comfortable, and the battery lasts a long time. The case also conveniently has an additional battery that can directly connect to the headset for recharging when I'm not near an outlet. I had a pair of bluetooth headphones that were not good so I looked for another, and man have i hit the jackpot! This headset is amazing! It’s universal so it can go on either ear, it doesn’t mess up my hair, the buttons on the headset actually work even with the dongle connection and no bluetooth and the sound quality is amazing. I ordered a pair to try them out before my mom got them and this was the best work from home equipment purchase i’ve made yet, and that says A LOT. Even with the seller directly, the customer service was great! I spoke with Susan to register for my warranty and she was very helpful and nice throughout the process. This headset has exceptional sound quality in both the speaker and the microphone. Two significant reasons I chose this headset was due to (1) the slim design, light weight of the device and (2) the extensive life of the battery. Other headsets were too bulky and uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time, as well as needing more frequent charging which is not always available. Working in an emergency communications center we must have exceptional sound on what the caller hears, and what I hear from the caller. I have not had anyone complain saying they cannot hear me. With buttons to easily adjust the volume it makes adjustments from call to call very easy. The battery has been extremely long lasting. While working long shifts I have not had to charge the device at any point during a shift. With the carrying case also being a charger is another great feature that motivated my purchase. When my shift ends I can place the headset on the charging base in my locker and not worry about needing to find a separate spot to charge the headset or wonder if someone might remove the power supply. I have placed the headset on the charging base after each shift and each time I start the next shift the headset is fully charged. Several co-workers have been impressed by the quality I have told them about and purchased headsets to use at work as well. This headset has been an excellent purchase for the great price, easy to wear for extended periods, excellent noise quality, extended battery life and overall ease of use.
