  • 5.0 out of 5 stars NECESSARY for teaching kids!
Color: Purple
Even our ski school provides these. The absolute best way to teach kids to keep their skis straight & from crossing.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Best thing for training
Color: Purple
All four of our kids learned fo snow ski wiht these and caught on with only one weekend ski trip some even took edgie off after a few runs others only needed edgie one weekend. I don't think it holds them back from learn nor do they become dependent on it. I think was best choice for success!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Must have!
Color: Red
This is a must have for teaching those really littles how to ski. Makes a huge difference for my 4 year old. We initially tried another brand that clips instead of screws onto the ski tips but it failed after one use. This one is the way to go!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars It works wonders!
Color: Red
I used three for my three kids, ages 8, 6, and 4. My 4 year old had never skied before and after helping him down the run just one time he was able to ski the rest of the day on his own! These things are worth hundreds of dollars when you consider how well they help to teach kids to ski. I saw countless parents struggling with hoola hoops, leashes, or just plain back breaking holding their kids while skiing. Skip all of that and buy the edgie wedgies. It made my life so easy taking my three very inexperienced kids skiing all on my own. I didn't have any issues with them breaking (don't over torque them) or falling off. Occasionally the Bungie would get looped over and stuck on the screw for my 6 year old (making the distance between skis closer) but it was a minor inconvenience. The only down side is my 4 year old struggled on flat or slight uphills in the lift line. I had to pull him along which was easy enough to do (by hooking the bungee with my ski pole). The older kids had enough leg strength to move in the line while they were still using the edgie wedgie. Buy these, you will not regret it! They are worth 10x the price they are sold for when you have an experience like I did. A full day of skiing, happy and independent kids, and a proud dad! All without frustration and a sore back! ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Best invention
Color: Green
My 8 year old learned how to ski using it in just one day. I recommend it for all beginner skiers.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Useful, did its job and the plastic broken at the end of our 5 day ski trip
Color: Green
As I mentioned it did its job, very helpful for the kid to pick the pizza or inner eight “八” regardless how you would to call it since the first time skier could not hold the position during the ride. This one greatly helped them and my kid could do a green after couple of days using this one, much better than you continuously roaring at them on the slope. Definitely useful. Similar to other comments, since it is cold out and your kids keep rubbing the little plastic one, at the end of our second day, it started to tearing apart. Not suppress but I was worried about it at that moment. Finally, it broke and it is the time for the little one to ski without it. So, in all. Have an estimate of the kids level, prepare an additional one. You can’t expect this useful 10 buck stuff to last longer than 5 days (from any seller). ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars It’s surgical tubing and a clamp….
Color: Purple
Love it. My 4 year old is on blues in only 4 days on the mountain. My 3 year old loves it too, makes learning easy for the little ones that don’t have the leg and hip strength to manage the skis. To all the people complaining - it’s rubber tubing and ski edges are sharp metal. Sure it’ll get cut, but you just cut it flush and out it back together, bam. Once it’s too short you send it back to the company woth $1 and they send you a brand new one. Just buy two, slap a fresh one on if your kid tears one up and fix it when you get home. You spent more on hot chocolate at the lodge and the hot chocolate just made your kid have a sugar crash when you skipped nap time for one more run… ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not as quick
Color: Red
I have another set that is a locking pincher thing, not sure what it’s called but you squeeZe it and then locks on. This one is a twist metal screw, which is probably also not great for going onto the ski.
