I use this on a 2008 Nissan Armada which has a rather large windshield. This does a great job of covering it and only a more rigid reflective style shade would be better but would be larger when folded. It took me a little while before I was able to easily fold it for storage but once you get it down its not hard. It covers and protect my panels from the sun, which is one of the reasons why I wanted something like this. About keeping my car cool, it does help. These type sunshades, twist n fold, have long been my favorite. But have learned that I really need to research to make sure i get great quality, not just something inexpensive - as those don't have the quality of framework material to fold and stay folded easily. And then the material used for the shade will fade and disintegrate quickly. My pic. shows the car shade super wrinkly. This was the first day I used it. The wrinkles did eventually go away. I have a 2020 Altima and this car shade fits just fine. A little big but fine.
