I live in Northwest Washington State where we have year-round unpredictable and "wacky" (rainy, sunny, cool, windy, rainy, overcast, cold, sunny, rainy, snowy) weather -- which I love :) My car is a medium-size Mercedes-Benz sedan with black leather interior, including on the steering wheel. It is ga
raged at home, but during the spring, summer or fall, the temperature outdoors gets up into the mid- 80s, and on rare occasion, a few degrees hotter. This causes the inside of my car to turn into an oven on occasions when I am shopping in a mall or market and leave it in an open parking lot. I had a cheap folding sun shade for a few years, but it eventually started peeling, so I threw it away and decided to look on Amazon for a different type. I purchased two EcoNour sun shades -- this one (two-piece) and the one with Velcro that attaches to the windshield's mirror (I purchased both to see which one fits best). The one-piece with the Velcro fasterner was absurdly large despite the product listing saying it would fit my car, and it was impossible to fold back up into the small bag that was provided. I showed it to a friend with a larger car, and he purchased it for the same amount I paid. The two-piece EcoNour, however, surprisingly fit PERFECTLY, top to bottom and side to side. There is a small bit of overlap between the two pieces, but with a small amount of adjustment, there is almost no gap for sun to shine through, and the small overlap seems to help the fit. I have not (yet) been able to fold the two pieces to put them back into their bag, and it is somewhat of an annoyance to remove them from the front windshield and try to store them without being in the provided bag. My alternative for the time being, until I practice folding the two pieces, is to put them in the back seat where they take up too much space. Having said all of that, I am happy with this product and highly recommend it for its ease of use, quality and design (the two pieces was an ingenious invention).....except you are forewarned that trying to fold them back up will test your patience!
