I don’t have rosacea but I’ve always had a very pink looking tone and I think this helps to tone down the redness. Highly recommend any of the Avene products if you deal with sensitive skin, redness, dry skin. I read extensive reviews on the Avene products for Sensitive skin & roscea, and had extremely high hopes for this cleanser. Unfortunately, it did not get the job done. It’s a soothing application however didn’t remove makeup and left a film on my face. Every morning I wake up with even more redness. I feel as if this product is too heavy for someone with Rosacea, despite it being fragrance free and soothing. For two weeks I solely used this cleanser and a TJ Gel Cooling Moisturizer & EltaMD Sunblock (Day) and an Avene Moisturizer (Night). It’s not satisfying my needs, but I do hope it helps someone else that is needing a soothing cleanser that doesn’t remove makeup. ... show more

I thought I was getting a gentle cleaning solution, but it's actually a cleaning lotion. I don't get it. I have rosacea and this was recommended to me. I don't like using it, because I thought it was a cleanser(wash) but to not return it I just use it sometimes after using my other cleanser.

I use this at night as you use it with cotton pads (no water). Doesn’t awaken me as other cleansers that require rinsing. Removes make up if you do it twice. I don’t wear make up daily so it works just fine & does not strip the skin. This brand is awesome
