  • Worth the money
Very good quality very solid had to have professionally installed don't recommend for the average Joe to attempt but even with the money spent on install definitely still worth the price I can highly recommend

  • Awesome fenders!
Took me about 6 hours to get one side on taking my time, used about two 4" 1/16 cut off wheels, had to do some trimming. It's a pita to put on but looks awesome! Very sturdy. One thing I would recommend that's not in the instructions, where the fender lines up by the tire, remove or drill out the clips that holds the 4 13mm OE fender bolts, use the m8 bolts they supply you with. I'm confident about doing the other side now and shouldn't take as long. ... show more

  • NOT AN EASY INSTALL AT ALL
The only thing these fenders have going for them is the price and maybe a little looks. The install was not easy in the slightest. First and foremost I did not like the mesh panel once I realized what was behind it. passenger side is your battery and main fuse box, true its fwd and on top of the inside of the fender but its still there. driver side it was directly open to the aux "tray" which is where I have my compressor located. Both of these had to be notched for the install btw. I covered mine with a piece of painted sheet metal. You have to do ALOT of cutting and grinding to get these to fit. I have worked on airplanes for 40 years and maintain a "fleet" of seven cars due to 4 driving age kids. I know my way around a tool. I put installed them only after making that fateful first cut. I think they look a little stupid also being flush with the body and the rear fenders still with flares. Another thing You are putting on black fenders and they send you stainless steel hardware. I had to buy black hardware just for that attention to detail aspect. I will say they are worth the money but wanted people to know what they are getting into. Would I recommend these or put something similar on my '79, absolutely not. This is a 99 Wrangler btw with a 6" list and a Ford8.8 rear and a Dana 44 front. All regeared with airlockers. I did all the work myself. So when I say these werent fun please believe me. ... show more

  • Excited about these. Pros and Cons.
The install was easy enough without directions. I used the box it came in as a rough template by tracing the outline of the fender onto it and trimming it back. Even with a damaged preexisting fender; I was able to fix the preexisting and use it to mount these. I used the Morris 4x4 smittybilt tube fender install video on YouTube to help me have an idea on how to install these. Lots of good advice on YouTube. Explore it. Pros: great look to these bad boys, straight forward install, adds clearance for flex (if you're into that kind of thing), makes bystanders give you the thumbs up, very rugged (that tree got the mark on it, not my fenders), it's a bargain. Cons: tight spaces to wrench upon install, ride quality suffers due to aerodynamics, no preexisting holes for hood latches ... show more

  • Great fit and value!
Great fit once everything is cut away... there were a few holes needing some clearancing... expected as no two 14 year old jeeps are the same... otherwise a great fit... delivered quickly with instructions, all the new hardware you need (some get reused), 4 longer bolts for inner fenders, lights pre-installed and very well packaged... can't speak for durability as it's a new install but there were no glaring issues to fine me any concerns... definitely great value for the $$$! ... show more

  • Great fenders
They are great not hard to install if you have mechanical knowledge or any knowledge about jeeps. Just watch out for the battery tray and all the harness wires when cutting off old fenders. Other than that they are very strong, so strong you can literally stand on them without worrying

  • Looks good but hard install
Although this looks good once installed, it was a real pain in the you know what. The instructions were horrible, no template for cutting existing fenders, bolt holes didn't line up and not instructions on wiring in the light. I have a 2003 TJ and the battery tray on both sides hit the fender and required some hammer adjustments. I knew going in it would take some cutting but for a weekend warrior like me, this was a pretty involved install. ... show more
