The ratings are pretty decent for these chairs but I was really worried about the quality. I wanted something more streamlined than the chunky dining chairs I had before but I also didn't want to spend a ton because we're dog owners and our furniture tends to age more quickly just from wear and tear and life. So I didn't want to invest in something brand name or overly high-end. These are affordable, look great and have a perfect streamlined silhouette which is perfect for our very small dining space. If you're looking for chairs that have a smaller footprint, these are a great option. The cushion is very firm but not uncomfortable. I prefer that, especially for a dining area and I imagine it will start to have more give over time. Other reviewers have mentioned, it wobbles on hard flooring. I did my best to tighten all the screws but there are still varying degrees of wobble on our tiled floor. However, when I put this on rug or carpet, there's no wobble. Very comfortable and seems really sturdy so far. Be sure to adjust the leveling things on the bottom of the legs by turning them. They were also delivered earlier than expected. I love that the cushions come off and have a zipper to remove the cover (I assume so they can be washed? Not sure yet if they must be spot cleaned or can be placed in washing machine) ... show more
