Im updating the very negative review I gave below and changing my one star to 4 stars. I decided not to return the chairs, and I’m glad that I kept them. After sitting on them for a while, the seating has really softened up, and they’re much more comfortable now. They’re still not comfortable enough to sit in for a long time, but sitting for a meal, or even working at the table, for a few hours is just fine. They still do look great as well. Earlier comments: I bought these chairs because of their small frame and sophisticated look. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but these might be the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat on. The padding is so firm that it feels like you’re sitting on metal. I wish I had returned these while I had the chance. ... show more

Very comfortable and seems really sturdy so far. Be sure to adjust the leveling things on the bottom of the legs by turning them. They were also delivered earlier than expected. I love that the cushions come off and have a zipper to remove the cover (I assume so they can be washed? Not sure yet if they must be spot cleaned or can be placed in washing machine) ... show more
