I like this electric trike a lot. First off, it arrived in only two days, so way faster than the estimated time, which is always nice. (I live in the same state it was sent from.) Putting it together wasn't too hard for me, but I see other reviewers hired someone. It does take a few hours if you're not experienced (I'm not, but I'm fairly handy), and the instructions could be better. I used both the video and booklet. (I had trouble finding the video, but it's there right at the top of the product page among the pictures. Go to the video section (the sideways triangle), and it's in there among a few other videos. This is why I missed it at first.) I like how amazingly fast it is, and it has a fantastic turning radius. You can pretty much make it spin like a top if you need to turn around in a small space. (But be careful trying this. With a motor this powerful, you could tip over if you give too much throttle.) I've gone eight miles (almost all non-paved and hilly) so far, and the battery is only down two bars. On a non-paved, steep hill, it might need a tiny bit of pedal-assist, but otherwise, I'm riding it all over my rough, hilly property without needing to pedal, even through tall grass full of gopher-holes. One reviewer said it pulls to one side. In my experience, it might feel like it's doing that, but this is probably more simply how 3-wheel bikes work. On uneven ground or when turning, it might lean a little in an nonintuitive way if you're used to how a bicycle leans, and this feels like it's pulling. You just have to get used to it, and then it's fine. Oh, yeah, another reviewer complained about the brakes being weak, but I suspect they put it together wrong. You have to push the brake connector all the way before tightening the wire onto it. The brakes are nice and strong like they should be. Fun tip: before starting to build it, start charging the battery and let it charge while you're building the rest of the trike. If you don't do this, once the trike's built and you're rarring to go, you'll be kicking yourself for having to wait. All in all, this is a really good electric three-wheeler for the price. It's quiet. No gasoline fumes. It has a nice strong motor and sizeable lithium ion battery. It's perfect for me to get around my property, hauling small loads like my tools, etc. You can just hop on and go, then hop off when you arrive, no kickstand or anything. I even use it to bring the big garbage cans down my long driveway to and from the road, and it works well even when they're full and heavy. ... show more

The bike was damaged in shipping and missing parts the company replaced them quickly that was very nice. Once i assembled the bike and took it for a test drive everything worked fine ,except for the derailleur the chain comes off once i get into high gear . Its not a major problem the bike is for my wife and she wont go that fast. ... show more

Took about 2 days to put together with the help of a local bike shop to help and check everything out. For my first ride I took it to a nearby park with a large pavement area. The next day I took it to park again to ride but all 3 tires were flat. Took it home and aired tires...they all went flat agin....?? emailed Meigi and they are going to send me 3 new tires and rims that hold air. Will finish this if they are true to their word and I can again ride my $2600 bike ???..........back riding again with new tubes and liners between tire and tubes but not where any goat heads are! They are terrible on bike tires!! Battery stays charged over winter fine. Looking forward to a fun summer on my DWMEGI. VERY GOOD quality bike!!! Well its very nice summer weather and I'm back to riding...so happy with this bike still. Battery lasts about 3 outings, recharge if hilly I found out on 3rd outing. Very nice looking. Did buy a better flat seat without nose to keep my butt comfortable and there is plenty of room for my dog "molly" in the back basket...she loves it! Put liners in all the tires between tire and tube because of goathead thorns. Getting readt to go out again today. Bought a nice 6 foot steel trailer from Lowes to haul it in behind my car.     • Harder to ride then a bike

Instructions were a little hard in some areas and had to end up taking the almost fully put together trike to a bike shop to put together. We bought this one for my mom thinking it would be better and a bit safer as it’s been more than 20 maybe closer to 30 years since riding a bike. We wanted to have a backup to save on gas to get to work. I tried to ride it and it’s a lot hard than the electric bike I got. It all feels like one speed even when we change the speed settings to go slower. And it won’t stay straight. As it starts to curve it speeds up more and the handle bars end up going into my leg. We have tried adjusting the bars to see that makes a difference…We also went with this one with the bigger tires as we are on a dirt road. Honestly, it looks like a nice bike, but for the money we spent on it, I’m not completely impressed by it. We even had a processional bike company help at the very end and still doesn’t work as well as we expected. They even did the battery at the end, and now we can get it out to be able to take it inside to charge. So not sure on that. I personally do not recommend getting this. Especially if you haven’t ridden a bike in years. ... show more

Straightforward assembly. Everything works well. Solid unit. Check on-line shifter adjustment vids; that and the brake adjustments are the only thing that aren't "out of the box" ready. About 100 miles on it so far, only re-charged once. **over 1000 miles on it, now. I'm happy with it. I put a hitch on it and I can tow 8' lumber behind it (or a surfboard)! Update: 794 miles on it. The handlebar stem nut loosened a few times but I got it tightened down and lock nutted with a 36mm wrench and it has been staying tight for last couple hundred miles. I need to replace the freewheel ratchet parts in the gear cassette as it is slipping and I'm not able to ride it currently. I contacted the supplier and they informed me they are shipping me parts to fix this problem. Further update: I received the freewheel/ratchet/gear cassette replacement today under warranty. I'm happy. Thanks. (They sent me a link to a video for the procedure to pull the axle to change the part, also. It was easier than it looked on the video to pull the axle and change the gear cassette. I'm putting some more miles on it.) ... show more
