This cover is big. Fits my Chevy suburban with large extended trailer mirrors. Overall, I am ok with purchase. It does a good job of keeping debris from the paint and clear coat. A little disappointed that moisture is able to get underneath the cover via soaking the fabric. The fabric in fact holds water against the truck body. I park the truck under a maple tree that drops leaves, sticks, small branches and maple tree helicopter seedlings. Seems tough enough after 2 months but do wish it was more water restiatant like the cover on my Camry. ... show more

It looks like what it is, a big bag to go over your truck. It keeps the tree sap and sun off the truck which is why I bought it, If you are looking for a custom fit, look elsewhere, other than that, it seems to do the job.

SIZE/ FIT: I purchased the Duckcover Weather Defender Series in the 210x68x60 for a Volvo XC90 SUV and the recommended size is so big it drapes loosely and is just inches from the ground. Because it's so loose, I'm able to very easily put the cover on by myself in just minutes but because it's so loose, I will absolutely need to use tiedowns to keep wind from pulling it off. It appears to be very well made of durable fabric. USING IT: The cover has front and back tags and the two navy colored stripes that run along the side edges from front to back of the vehicle make it really easy to orient the cover when putting it on, especially for one person. I roll it up from front to back, put the front part on to catch under the bumper, then unroll it back to the windshield keeping the stripes lined up with the edges of the vehicle; from there it's easy to go from side to side rolling a little as needed with the stripes letting you know that you have it on correctly. I'm short and it's easy and takes less than 5 minutes. WARRANTY: I dinged it one star because the warranty information is incorrect, both in the individual product description and in the Duckcover Vendor product description showing the Duckcover product lineup, which is clearly provided by the manufacturer to Amazon and it did matter to me when buying the Weather Defender Series, that it was advertised to having a 4 yr warranty vs 2 yrs for the base model. So, there are 3 levels of covers with warranties listed as 2yrs, 3yrs, and 4 yrs, respectively -- ALL DUCKCOVERS ARE 2 YR WARRANTY. Given the pricepoint and that I'll be using it for part-time outdoor parking, I'll keep the cover. IF YOU'RE GOING TO USE THIS COVER FOR FULL-TIME OUTDOOR USE, CHECK COMPETITOR WARRANTIES VS DUCKCOVER WARRANTY, although at this pricepoint, perhaps 2 yrs is the norm and reasonable.     • DUCK COVER DEFENDER SERIES : TOO LARGE FOR A 2 DOOR GEO / CHEVY TRACKER

I bought this Duck cover (Defender Series) for a 1996 2 door Geo Tracker. The description in the ad copy says it is for a Jeep / SUV. Amazon says it will fit a 1996 Geo Tracker that is in "My Garage". I also have a 1998 2 door Chevy Tracker which is the same size. When I received my order it came in a very large Amazon cardboard shipping box. Inside the shipping box was a clear plastic bag with the Duck cover in it, no retail box, no description, just a clear plastic bag. A storage bag for the cover and an instruction sheet. Also enclosed was what looks like thick string [more on that later]. The instruction sheet that was enclosed with the cover says at the bottom that the warranty for the Defender Series cover is for 2 years. NOT 4 years as the ad stated on Amazon. A 4 year warranty is one of the main reasons for ordering this cover. I have already gone through 2 covers from another company that lasted about 9 months before dry rotting in the hot Florida sun. So a 4 year warranty sounded great. The main reason for a TWO STAR rating is the cover is TOO BIG for my Geo Tracker. The front, left, right, and rear sides of the cover all cover at least 6 inches on the ground. I don't know it this will be bad or good in the long run, but I was hoping for a snug fit like my previous covers. I have no way of securing the cover to my vehicle as the grommets are all on the ground. I will attach a photo over the weekend. I will probably end up putting something heavy on all four sides on the part of the cover that is touching the ground. This will snug it down a little without being too tight on my vehicle. We still have 2 more months of Hurricane season to deal with, so hopefully this will work. Was I sent the wrong size cover? I don't know because as I already stated, the cover came in a clear plastic bag with no description on it, no retail box, no info. By the way, the ROPE that is included with the cover for tying it down using the grommets is actually more like string, not rope. In my opinion it is way too thin to do any good. As far as for the cover itself, it seems to be well made. Seems to be much better made than other covers that I have bought. I will see how it does in the hot Florida sun. ... show more
