  • Work great for effects!
These pens are fabulous! They work great for hand lettering and making faux watercolor. Great value for the price! When I do the "watercolor" method (coloring on a plastic baggie and spraying with water, then placing it on my Bible page), it leaks right through to the opposite side of the page. However, when I just write on the Bible page with the marker, the thin marker does not leak through and the thicker brush marker slightly leaks through. FYI. Still, I love these... and they work great for blending, too! Just use a darker marker to color on the brush tip of a lighter one for a "gradient" effect. Very pretty! ... show more

  • GREAT DUAL TIP MARKERS
I love to sit around in the evening with a glass of wine and color in my adult coloring books. It is such a relaxing way to spend my evenings. When our friends come over even then all of us girls will color in the coring books, so I am always on the hunt for more markers so everybody has a set of their own to use. They also make fantastic Christmas and birthday presents. I am not an expert at it, but it doesn’t matter to me because I just love doing it. In this kit you get 36 markers. All are different colors and different shades of the same color. They are dual tip markers, a different size tip on each end with its own cap. On 1 end is a larger tip that is more flexible and it is great for coloring in the larger areas. The smaller tip is a fine tip that is great for writing and when you have small lines to color in. I had no trouble with these markers smudging or bleeding through. (look at pictures) and I tend to color hard. They are very smooth flowing. They come in a nice clear plastic case to store them in. ... show more

  • Awesome Set of Marker Pens!
I'm a self described planner nerd and I have been on the look for some dual tip pens that didn't break the bank, but that didn't bleed through paper either. I use the Happy Planner and these markets have worked perfectly. I love the range of different colors, makes color coding easier. I also have two little boys, 5 and 2, and they are able to use these markers easily. They wash off of skin well and do no stain carpet (my 2 year old dropped one on the floor). I love the Brush Highlighter part for coloring and the fine tip for more detailed information in my planner. The colors are vibrant and the pen sits comfortably in your hand. I would recommend this set to anyone! ... show more

  • Soft brush tip and color selection give watercolor-like experience
We have some Pentel brush tip pens, and while those are far better for writing, these have a longer, more compliant tip which is better for drawing and illustrations. The narrow razor tip on the opposite side allows you to do fine touch up or detail work. The color selection is quite broad though I might like a warm grey since the 3 greys provided are all cooler. The kids have been using these daily since we got them, they definitely love them! ... show more

  • Great set that lasts
I bought these markers specifically for a gift I was creating for my mom. I needed a variety of colors and would be using both the thicker marker as well as a thin pen. These were a great buy and exactly what I was looking for. 36 different vibrant colors. The marker end is nice and smooth without bleeding or running our of ink. I was concerned about the pen side, as I've had trouble before with it being too light or running our of ink immediately. These have lasted through many written cards already, with no show of any wear or drying out. There are a lot of colors and variations to choose from. I'm very happy with the purchase. I am adding a photo here that shows a handful of the colors and the thickness of both ends. ... show more

  • The Perfect Marker for My College Journey
I L-O-V-E these markers! I have always been a creative person. I like to color, acrylic paint, design & decorate, write, and design scrap books etc. I feel I need to mention my extra curricular activities to explain I’ve had my share of marker/pen supply purchasing, most of the time on a budget. I’ve had a challenging time with trial & error when it comes to buying fine point markers that have the right colors, don’t dry out quickly, don’t bleed through my paper, don’t leak, don’t smudge, have the flow of a felt tip marker pen, easy to grip, easy to uncap, and have usage longevity (last a long long). Not only do the caps remove effortlessly, regardless of what end of the marker you’re using, the caps clamp onto each other with without popping off or suctioning together and making it a struggle to separate them. One peeve I have is not having a secure place to put my cap(s), worse, if a pen has an origami design at the end because they are trying to distinguish themselves from different brands. Those other markers feel like I’m trying to shove a square into a circle. But with the Tanmit, it’s perfect for my liking. I also appreciate the smoothness texture of the outside core. My fingers don’t become sore and calloused and need a gripper. Other people may have a different perspective, and perhaps it’s the size of my hands and the amount of use I put in, but with these dual tip markers, I can color code my journals, flash cards, notes, doodle and decorate my binders, and NOT become frustrated! It’s easy to toggle between different colors for hours, depending on the project I’m working on. I can’t emphasize enough, it is because the caps are easy to remove, securely store on the marker’s opposite end and fully recap! Some markers don’t fully recap, so they leak or dry out faster. As far as the variation of the colors, there is an adequate combination. Some are more vivid than others, but the richer & darker colors don’t bleed to the backside of the paper or smudge on the top where you’re writing or drawing. Most importantly, regardless of the color, the marker does NOT leak from the actual tip. I hate having my fingertips with marker leakage that ends up being stamped and accidentally smeared onto my expensive college books. Of note, I’ve bought expensive National brands with different tip sizes. At the moment, I have about 7 different sets of marker pens I’m using. The only reason why I’m still using them, is to get my monies worth. I’ve resorted to using them for to-do or grocery lists. They dry out quickly anyway. But with TANMIT, they are my 100% go-to while I study for intense exams and need to journal in my daily / yearly planners! ... show more

  • Don't waste your money - these aren't brush pens!
I bought these because I've been interested in lettering with brush pens. These aren't brush pens - they're just regular markers! The "brush" side is totally inflexible and doesn't allow me to do different widths on the up and down strokes, which was the whole point of getting them. There's literally no difference between the tips of these so-called brush pens and the super cheap set of kids markers I got at Michael's for coloring. Guess I'll use these for coloring as they're absolutely worthless for my intended purpose. ... show more
