I got an 2XL based on my bust size after deciding to size down as I am between sizes. It fit almost perfect, just a little wide across the top of the shoulders on the back but was perfect for a hot day and with hair down was no problem. I am 5-4 and 170 lbs but have hourglass shape and this dress accentuated my narrow waist and flared out beautifully. The sleeves easily camouflaged my less than thin arms well and allowed a good amount of airflow. The dress is very elegant but could be used in a professional setting with the right shoes and accessories. It is well made and fit to size selected. My niece loved it. She’s about 5’2” and 120 lbs. and she looked lovely and too grown up for her sappy auntie. I would highly recommend!!!

This is a small, my daughter is 5’9 and 112 pounds and a very athletic build. It’s hard to find a t length dress that goes below the knee and fits the waist properly. If it’s long enough the waist is huge or if the waist fits it’s above the knee. This one is the perfect length. A little big in the waist but I think once we add the belt it will be perfect. The one thing is it looks shiney, almost like a satin finish, in the photo. It is not but still beautiful and my girl says it is very comfortable and she is picky when it comes to fabrics and tags and zippers. I love this dress! I needed a black dress to play in a string quartet at a wedding. I love that it has the fun sleeve detail. I don't like showing my arms when I'm playing violin, but I need a sleeve that will move with me and not be too tight. And since people are watching my arms, it's nice to have a pretty and flowy detail on the sleeve. It is just long enough that I was not self-conscious while sitting with people watching me, but not so long that it was dragging the floor and still looked like a pretty party style dress. My favorite thing is that it is not too low in front, but still a flattering V cut, and it has a stitched waist which gives a fitted look and a nice shape. This dress is very classy and flattering and I love it! The bell sleeves are beautiful and the material is great. I am 5'6" tall and weigh 125 lbs. and a small fit me perfectly. The length is just below the knee on me.

This dress was a gift for my Granddaughter's 8th grade graduation. It is exactly what she wanted, it was a tiny bit big for her would of been better if it came in as but she likes the length of skirt and sleeves.
