I live fulltime in my rv at the moment with my much loved custom sound system in storage. Over the past 3 years I have tried literally a dozen+ speaker systems trying to max out my acoustics. These are the best by at least 50%! The highs and midst are clear at higher volumes. The only critique I have would be that the bass seems a tad light. It's fine for me but I think younger folk might find the "thump" lacking a little. For the money and considering the space that I have to work with I HIGHLY recommend a pair. While I thought I couldn't do better, Doss exceeded my expectations with this deep bass and excellent highs with this 80w doss soundbox xl ultra sound experience is exceptional! I have had this speaker for a month now. What I like about the speaker is the sound and the look of the speaker. What I don't like and it's just my opinion is when the speaker is on there are no lights indicating it's on. Also when charging the speaker there are no lights indicating the speaker is charged.
