My wife isn't in the best of health and often needs my assistance. Bought this so she could press a button and alert me when she needs help. Most of the time it simply doesn't do anything when she presses the button. Receiver is perhaps 30 feet from transmitter. It's almost as if it "goes to sleep" after periods of inactivity. Because after fiddling with it, it does eventually ring. But it doesn't help with what I wanted it for. Returned it. ... show more

Its not 1000 feet range. Probably 500 feet. We used for food buzzing and don’t buzz in the 3rd floor. Only by the 2nd floor. Still performs better than other brand. Easy to use, plug and play, loud as needed. Well built and works on 220v plugs.
