Functional, easy to clean, easy to access, easy to flip open and fold up. Great for travel. Quality material. Used for integrating new kitty as well. Kitty is now 5.5 lbs plenty of room. Our 13 lb has checked it out and plenty of room for her. Great value. No assembly just flip it open. I do not use it outdoors and if I did I would not leave unattended. The mesh is not the same as in most carriers that seem coated or pet grade mesh. Kitty has scratched on mesh with no problems yet. Just would not leave unattended. My cat chewed the entire bottom part of the door open, ripped it apart. She's a 16 year old senior cat who is skinny and slow... if she could do that, I can't imagine what an average age dog or cat would do to it. This won't hold up long, lasted us weeks? I can still use it, I just put something heavy in front of the door so she can't escape (she has cat-dementia) and only keep her in it at night when we can't watch her, cause she likes to wander and potty everywhere. It needs a reinforced door around that zipper, that part is weak and easily ripped off. Other than that, she likes it during the day and will actually go in there to nap or eat and potty.... so I give it 3 stars for the jekyll side of her. ... show more

We just brought home a new kitten to join our family, and we want to make sure she's safe from getting into trouble at night time when we sleep, at least for the first couple weeks. I can fit her mini litter box, her food and water bowls, and her little bed, stuffy, and a couple little toys inside and she's good to go till morning. She loves it and see's it as her little house where all her "stuff." we leave it unzipped during the day so she can come and go, and then put her to bed at night. This item is ideally great if you need a portable way to crate your puppy and even for traveling . It is easy to simple fold up and go . The con however is my puppy so smart she get unzip the top and the front cover and get out . This is a major problem when I am away for a few hours and come home to find she is out destroying my home. The next con is since it has not weigh she sometimes flips it over and gets tangled into a ball which it could cause suffocation . I will not purchase or recommend this products again ! ... show more

We were not expecting to add the addition of a kitten to our home, but we did recently. She loves having her own hideout from our dog and her own place to be while she eats, sleeps and plays.
