  • My eleven year old granddaughter was enchanted with this book.
She couldn’t wait for her party to be over so she could start trying her hand at making dollhouse furniture.

  • Perfect for Dollhouse Camps!
Don't listen to the negative review below! I think that person was looking for a "hobby dollhouse" where everything is perfect and realistic. If you are an art studio teacher or your child has attended a dollhouse camp, I highly recommend this book! I just got done teaching my first dollhouse camp and my students poured over the book every day. They would then go home every evening and look for items in their recycling bin to bring to camp and create furniture out of! The projects are fun, funky, handmade...so don't order if you are looking for furniture that you find at Hobby Lobby. These projects are much more creative than than that! ... show more

  • Fascinating!
This will be a gift, but I glanced through it and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Using recucled objects to create her own doll house will keep her busy for awhile. She's already a little carpenter.

  • Great Ideas!
I really love the ideas and DIY way of recycling things I read about in this book. I think it could use a few more basic starting tips for first-time Dollhouse Makers. Also, some of the dollhouses in the photos look cheaply made even though I have made some really great dollhouses from recycled items on my own. Otherwise, its a great book! ... show more

  • Let your imagination be your decorator.
This charming book shows the steps for creating doll house furniture out of everyday items. A perfect how-to book for moms and daughters (and grandmothers and granddaughters) to design and build small furnishings and accessories for a dollhouse.

  • Not what it claims
Was looking for a book that tells how to make a dollhouse not dollhouse furniture. This is garbage. Would like label to return for a refund

  • Okay for beginners
Not the best use of everyday items, some work seemed a little sloppy.

  • Granddaughter LOVES it
Granddaughter visited and brought this book along, it was from the library, she liked it so much that I purchased for her. She loves it. Very easy to follow instructions and simple to follow.
