    • Adorable and the stencils feel thick and of good quality.
So to be honest, I have only opened the package and spread things out. I am not sure what I want the banner(s) to say yet so I haven't committed to anything. The flags are good size and the stencils are thick so I don't worry about the paint seeping underneath and making the letters look weird. I am a little curious if the paint will seep through the burlap and show on the other side though. As it is a meshy type material, I assume so (which is fine, just means it can't be a two sided banner). I am thrilled I bought this and can't wait to try it out and update on the actual use with pictures. My snarky husband would like to point out to all other snarky husbands that if/when your partner wants to but this and says "but baby it's an all inclusive DIY kit" remind her she is wrong as it doesn't come with the paint. Insert eyeroll here because duh. lol. Hope you love this banner more than you husband in moments like these :) ... show more

Whether you’re placing these indoor or outdoor you should use spray paint rated for outdoor use. Where burlap is made from natural materials such a jute or hemp, these are made from polyethylene (plastic) and should hold up in weather or moisture better than the traditional burlap materials.

    • Cute and Clever DIY Banner
This DIY banner is so cute and clever! I'm planning to use this for my wedding. The burlap looks great and doesn't make it feel like you have a cheap paper banner hanging up. I like that it has slits in the stencils so I can pin them in place to keep them from moving around. Keep in mind there is no back liner, and with burlap being porous, paint will seep through and should be done on a scrap/art surface. The burlap is also not hemmed or glued on the edges and may fray or shed. For the number of flags and the included stencils, I think this is a great value find. ... show more

This is the perfect size and it comes with enough flags (48) that you can write almost any message. The burlap is better quality than I though it would be and the strings are ample. Letter stencils are included, but I preferred to just freestyle on these. You will need to get your own fabric paint.

Y’all I cannot wait to make my welcome sign for my office with this DIY burlap banner and stencil set!!! It is a very heavy duty, strong burlap and you can cut it to make more than one banner!! Stencils are great with all the letters and symbols you need! Each flag is a really great size, see the picture with my hand for comparison. Perfect for bulletin boards, parties, wall decoration etc. It’s a really great quality and worth the money. I think it will last many, many years! If you need a banner with a totally unique message this kit is just what you are needing. The stencils are a plastic material that can be used over and over so will be saved by me for projects well beyond a banner.
