Just received. Does not come with any instructions, but easy to figure out. Going to use it in an rv and it looks easy to collapse and make much smaller. Much better than my old wire cage for collapsing.

Our number one reason for purchasing it was looks. And now I don’t know why we waited so long. Our Petco crate worked great, but it looked like a big black cage no matter where we put it. We could not be happier because the ash gray blends in with our decor perfectly. It still looks like a crate, but it’s a lot more elegant and subtle than what we had. Functionally, it’s very sturdy, very dog proof (for our furry little chewer), and has lots of ingress/egress options. It’s a breeze to assemble/break down, thoughtfully designed, safe, and secure. Do read the owner’s manual bc there are a few finer points (regarding proper use) that you might not pick up on your own. The only downside is that it’s heavy to pick up. Even if you move it using the built-in rollers, you have to stoop because the grip is just a groove built into the frame. Would I buy again or recommend to a friend? 100% yes. Update: I’ve now had this a few weeks and my dog already considers it his home-within-the-home. He’s a small buy mighty chewer and has already done some damage to the finish on the grates…so I’m just hoping the bond is strong enough that it doesn’t deteriorate on its own now that the paint seal is broken. ... show more

    • One step set up. Very Sturdy.
If you are okay wheeling 40 pounds, this crate is amazing with its one pull set up, sturdiness, quiet and. no rattles with metal kennel, and our dog took to it immediately as if he were at home. Worth every penny.

The crate is solid. It is constructed very well and I don’t have to worry about my dog being able to unlock it. There are no areas that she might get hurt, like a paw stuck under an area like some other crates. It is a bit heavy but has convenient wheels to help move it from time to time. Love that it has more than one door besides the front door. The additional doors like the garage type door on the side and the top opening are a plus. Would recommend this crate. ... show more

So I’m writing this review with the disclaimer that our puppy hasn’t arrived yet, but based on my experience with other kennels Im confident im going to be satisfied. First, I love the rounded edges. I tend to bump into things so I love that I can save myself a little pain. Second, this was a breeze to assemble. I was a little nervous when I saw how huge the box was, but it was meticulously packed and arrived in perfect condition. Third, I love the 3 different access options. Especially the garage style door. With previous dogs as they got older we usually let them leave the cage door open and they have still opted to sleep in their safe space, but other kennel designs mean we had a door taking up more space. I like that this slides up and gives freedom without inconvenience to us. Lastly, I guess I should explain why I didn’t give 5 stars. In the packaging it says there are magnets on this and to be careful not to allow dogs or children to swallow. I have to do some more investigating, as I haven’t seen where they could be. However, I don’t really like the idea of my puppy being around magnets. Especially since puppies could chew. I also have young children. The only other con is the tray. I thought it would have been a little heavy duty, my husband didn’t share the filmy sentiment I did so maybe I was being too critical. ... show more

The designer(s) of this crate took into account and corrected every conceivable flaw that currently exists in other crates. This is a first-rate item and worth every penny. Ordered a dog crate for my 7.5 lb dog and liked the way it seemed easy to put together and collapse when not needed. Pictures can be deceiving. This crate is super heavy when set up and the plastic hatch locks are impossible to open. The wheels don’t move. I am so sorry that I bought this. Had the enormous box removed from my apartment and now I can’t even return it. Also, have to take this return to UPS instead of Whole Foods, which is so much more convenient.
