I love the switch. I bought this to replace my mainstay lamp because the switch on that was horrible. The switch on this is smooth and easy to operate. The neck is a little stiffer than the mainstays so again a win. The lamp shade is a little smaller, which is neither here nor there. But the clamp is not as capable. I clamp it to my 1.5” headboard. The mainstays stayed, but this just doesn’t. I modified the clamp to make it stay. It required more than just reshaping the clamp jaws. The spring is a little weak. Cute, stylish lamp but the USB ports do not fit standard USB. This was one of the main reasons I purchased this lamp over others so I’m disappointed that this feature was mislabeled. Otherwise, I like the lamp’s look and it goes with my simple decor. I’ll be keeping it but would prefer the USB port to work so I could charge my devices on my desk. ... show more

The lamp is ok, it get the job done but the clamp isnt strong enough to properly secure this lamp to anything, the neck is also subpar and isnt strong enough the support the lamp head.

I keep it at my desk where there really isn't appropriate room for a whole lamp and this works great in that spot! the light is super bright and i love that it is adjustable so i can change the position when doing makeup, or when i need more lighting for homework, etc. no issues with the clamp breaking or anything, and the range of motion is impressive! a bit overpriced IMO but def worth the money ... show more

Metal clamps are so much better than plastic clamps. (plastic deteriorates in a few years). So, good lamp. The neck is also pretty good quality, it stays pretty much where you point it.
