It was fairly simple to assemble with the instructions from delta’s video. The actual paper instructions were impossible for me to read. I purchased & assembled the matching wooden interactive Minnie Mouse bed a few days ago & the assembly involved the same tools so I was already familiar with that. I really like this toy chest for a few reasons; it is very fairly priced for the quality, I got it on sale but I think the regular retail price is well worth what you get. It’s a really nice size & the design is perfect especially matched with the bed. The pieces are wood & then laminate Minnie Mouse design. It’s very thick wood. What I love the most is that it cannot slam down on your child’s fingers. Even if the child pulls the lid all the way down, there’s an intentional space so they won’t get hurt. One corner of the back panel was damaged when we received the toy box. It did not affect the assembly or functionality of the toy box, so we finished assembling it for our granddaughters. They love the toy box and we really like the design and how well everything fit together and how easy the assembly was. My 2 year old loves this toy chest. It’s sturdy, & easy to assemble. What I love so much about this toy chest is that you don’t have to worry about the kids smashing their hands when it close. It’s not as big as I thought but over all it’s a really nice toy chest. Would highly recommend.
