According to the size chart I needed a large, I ordered a large, and it fits perfectly. Snug to my head, I keep my head clean shaven so I imagine if I let my hair grow in this may not fit as great. I’ve seen reviews complaining about “mushroom head” and yeah there’s a bit of that. They don’t advertise as being the thinnest helmet so you kind of have to expect that. I ordered the skull and riders design and it looks great in my opinion. I like the quick release chin strap, I’ve never been a fan of the double ring straps. I bought 2 of these an XL and large both fit the same and both were too small . the helmet i have had for 30 years is a large . i figured the Large would be fine . how ever when i received the XL one a few days later it fit the exact same as the large . the flat black and design are awsome . but the sizes are not correct! Buyer beware! ..needless to say I am returning both and sticking with my 30 yr old helmet!!! ... show more

I received this helmet for a Christmas gift . I give it 5 stars for the design printed on it and for the price. But it is not a half skull helmet as you can see in the photos I am submitting to you. This helmet is big and heavy the inner padding is way to thick and it hurts my ears.. thank you
