It is a nice light and the ability to focus the beam means you can adjust the spill of the light - keep it focused brightly on your book or open up the beam for a wider / dimmer light.     • Pinpoints light just where I want it.
Exactly as expected. I wanted light to put on headboard of bed, but design will not allow for it. Saw this lamp thought.....that might work.. Its perfect. For first time in years I can read in bed and not disturb my husband. Much better than trying to hold a flashlight.

I wanted a reading lamp that focuses directly on my text and this one does a great job! I had ordered a different (i.e. cheaper) one that ended up lighting up the whole room, but this one does a great job of focusing on what I'm reading and nothing else.

    • Exactly what I wanted to replace an old IKEA lamp.
It’s perfect for old eyes. I won’t probably use the spot focus but it’s there. Hard to find a small floor reading lamp. I like the “no nonsense” switch. I was able to take it off my home switching network. Perfectly placed switch too for my install.

    • Love it, but wish there was a taller version
This works great as a reading light but I bought a second to use over my cutting board. That one would be better 6 “ taller to fill out the light more evenly. I don’t see any reason why I’d ever need a pinpoint of light so the adjustable shade seems a bit unnecessary.
