I enjoy gardening but know very little about fencing for a garden. I considered several options and decided to try the plastic fencing. I was amazed. Dalen's plastic fencing works great and is easy to use. Its much more pliable than traditional fence wiring like chicken wire yet very strong. I wove wooden stakes in and out of the fencing and placed in the ground. That's it! No cable ties, clamps or fasteners were needed. The price is excellent. If you are looking for a great and easy way to fence your garden in, I would strongly recommend you try this fencing. It gives the strength you need a fence to be yet doesnt interfere with the beauty of your garden. I am adding to my additional review. I am on my second roll of this fencing and I use it for many things in addition to fencing. I make partitions using redwood stakes (about 4'tall)and connect the fencing to each stake using garden twine to secure it. It keeps my squash from taking over the garden. I also make trellis' out of the fencing and redwood stakes for much less than ones you buy in the store. You can make the size you need. This fencing is amazingly strong and very flexible. I will definitely keep a roll of this on hand. If you have looked into fencing prices you know what a bargain this is. It is definitely worth trying. ... show more

I bought this plastic fencing to install behind the metal rail of our condo patio balcony...it is invisible to neighbors and prevents the kitten from slipping between the balcony rails and plummeting three stories....so far, so good. Great stuff, easy to unroll and align with the top rail. I would have given it 5 stars but this roll didn't have a "straight edge" (in other words, the outside long edge didn't conform to one border line of the squares along the entire length, but meandered along up and down the squares). But, it's a minor flaw and otherwise a great product. ... show more

I was expecting something a little thicker, but this is actually quite effective. I wrapped my entire garden in this fence and the chickens didn't seem even remotely interested in trying to find a way in. It was mostly easy to use. I got two of these and while the first one unwrapped with ease, the second on had a little bit of tangling which had to be cut to unroll. Overall, I think this is an excellent product for the price and works very well. I used cut bamboo from my own garden as stakes and velcro plant ties to secure the fencing to the stakes. If your stakes are smooth, the fencing may slide up and down so you may need to secure the fencing at the ground. Because I used bamboo with little branching nobs on it, I was able to wrap the fence at the points where they had something to secure them from sliding up and down. In any case, I got about 75 feet covered in about an hour and that includes time to cut and trim the bamboo stakes. ... show more

After I planted my garden seeds I layed this plastic fencing on top of the soil and secured it to the soil with metal garden staples. I did this to stop the squirrels from digging in my garden and ruining my [plantings I have also used this to protect an azalea from being suffocated by leaves falling in the Fall. I layed this plastic fence material over the top of the azalea before the leaves started to fall. When the leaf fall was over all I had to do was carefully pick up the fencing and dump the leaves in my compost. My azalea was totally protected and I didn't have to pick leaves off and/or out of the azalea. ... show more
