I have fine, curly hair that requires quite a bit of work to not look like a mop. I've been using a Hot Tools round dryer for years to do exactly what this tool does - wrap the hair, hold it close to my scalp and release, changing temperatures to build volume. I'll be honest, I sent my BFF a text before I used this the first time saying it was likely 50/50 that I would come out of this with a bald spot, but that fear was unfounded. As long as you hold the hair taut, the tool releases with no issues. The GOOD is very good - It built fantastic volume. The controls for the wrap/unwrap as well as the temperature control are well placed on the tool and easy to access. Most importantly, I only tangled my hair on the spool one time and it was directly related to me pressing the tool against my scalp when my hair was not wrapped all the way to the scalp. Even then, it was simple to remove with no pain and no damage. Left my hair shiny and full of volume, but I definitely had to use a styling tool on top of this. I do that anyway, so not an issue. My hair had great movement all day. I used both brushes with equal success. To change out the brushes, just push the button at the end of the brush and it pulls right off. The NOT AS GOOD - In the directions, it states very clearly that your hair should be 70-80% dry before using this tool. For me, this is not an issue because I airdry my hair to about this point, anyway, but for those you who intended to actually use this as a dryer and not a styling tool, it may be an issue. The cord is a little short. Bottom line - great for adding volume and shine. Doesn't pull your hair out. Unless you airdry, this may not be a good choice for a dryer. ... show more

This is easy to use and it works well. It comes with a different brush. This is easy to replace the brush. It works as intended and you can have the brush rolls in one way or another. Easy to remove the hair and keep clean too.

    • Two in one: dryer and brush
This is a two in one hair dryer and brush. This is great especially if you are used to using a brush and a hair dryer to style your hair. The brush bristles detangle your hair as you dry it saving you some arm fatigue that usually will result when using two separate items (hair dryer and brush). This comes with two heads, changing the heads is easy. The rotating heads can rotate in two directions and the cooling feature is also great to have. The swivel cord helps that I’d does not dangle. I wish that the cord was a little longer but that might be an issue just for me as you may have a different setup of where you use this and where your electric outlet is located, this is not a major issue as I solve this using an extension cord. ... show more

As long as you take your time, this hairbrush works well. I have natural 4C hair so was definitely curious how this was going to work. Your hair needs to be just damp, definitely not wringing wet. After I washed my hair, I used my regular blow dryer to get it about 75% dry. After that I used the rotating brush. You'll need to part your hair into small sections, then take your time going through each one. I liked how it smoothed my hair. It doesn't get it nearly as straight as a flat iron; however, I ended up with a texture I was happy with. My hair ended up very smooth & full, so perfect for a high ponytail with lots of volume. For me, this isn't a tool I would use if in a hurry, but I'll definitely keep it in the rotation for when I have the time & want something a little different. ... show more

    • Awesome rotating dryer brush!
Dryer brushes are all the rave right now, so I was excited to finally get my hands on one! It’s easy to figure out how to use, and the interchangeable heads are easy to switch out. There are three different speeds and temps, and it does get pretty hot! It has pretty good air flow, so I feel like I get a good dry/curl out of it. The rotating brush is nice for curling, and just brushing out with it smooths a lot of my frizz! I love the rotation because it means I don’t have to manually turn the brush (I have carpal tunnel so it hurts), but be careful because one wrong move and your hair can get stuck in it lol. It’s also easy to hold without accidentally pushing a button! The cord is a perfect length to be able to freely roam about without having to be stuck next to an outlet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was so ready to give this product five stars. I love the way it stretches out 4C hair easily. I straightened out my daughter's hair easily. Instead of taking hours, it took just a half hour. It slid through her coily hair quite easily. So I can see this helping with an at-home silk press. It's just easy to use and it comes with multiple heads. It doesn't blow very loudly which I love. It's just so great but what I hated was the head would come off from time to time. While blow drying, the head came out once. I at first thought that I pressed the button on top which released it. Then it happened a few more times. The only thing I can think is that if pulled way too hard it can fall. Besides that, I do love it. ... show more

I used this 2 in 2 dryer/straightener on a couple of my mannequin heads and with practice and patience you will love this gadget. It rotates in a 360 and again the opposite way. The women in my family always fight over the hair dryer so I got this to give them options. It arrived just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out you get the unit and two brushes. My wife used it first and loved the 2 in. one. After she had used it after her shower she liked how it rotated on its own and the heat got her hair dry.
