I've had scuff and USB controllers normal xbox controllers but nothing compares to the elite 2 the paddles are perfect as is the layout and the only real downside is the longevity of bumper buttons and eventually stick drift.

It’s been great haven’t run into any of the issues other people have been running into but it has only been a week. The analog sticks are very smooth with nice grips to keep your fingers from slipping, the LB and RB buttons feel very well constructed, it has a very comfortable weight and quality feel to it, very responsive and easy to configure. Although the connecting the Bluetooth to my PC was a headache in the beginning I found out that switching between controller plugged in to wireless seems to mess with the controllers drivers unsure why but simple solution if you run into it is to uninstall the drivers restart your computer reconnect your controller and just charge it from a wall outlet it doesn’t take long to charge and it’s battery life makes up for the fact you can’t easily have it plugged in then wireless. Also keep in mind this controller is a lot more mechanical than it’s predecessors the more parts the more likely something is to move out of place or just go wrong entirely so just make sure to take care of it and not to go overboard like you would with a traditional Xbox controller ... show more

    • Don't buy this controller after a year it quit working

I bought my son this controller for his birthday. He has had it a little over a year. It quit working it won't power on at all. We took it to a shop to see if they could fix it. They said it was shot. They put it on a new charging port and still wouldn't do anything. They even tried to troubleshoot it and still got nothing but a broken controller. This was a rip off. Not worth the money. For 300.00 it should have lasted a lot longer the a year. This is a POS ... show more

I was warned this would be a heavy controller. They weren't wrong! But it's not an uncomfortable weight. It actually makes the controller feel hearty and quality. Build quality is very nice. The joysticks are so smoooooth. Coming from a PS4 controller, there is an adjustment period with the left joystick and d-pad being reversed. Every part of this controller feels solid and having those paddles on the back is great...even if I had to change what was mapped since a surprise fight meant I gripped the controller and activated the change weapon paddle...-_-. Value and Durability will be determined by how long it continues to function at this level. It is pricey, but so far, its totally worth it! ... show more

Looks good but there is oil and debris on my thumbsticks. Just on the ones on the unit. They almost look used. The other two sets didn't have the oil and debris. Not sure why they came so dirty. Will test out the unit itself and see if it works properly. It smells.like whoever installed this one had a lot of lotion in their hands and it transferred all over three grips. It smells horrible. I spent $300 for someone to treat it so poorly before I ever even got the product.... ... show more

I cant upload the photo of it at the moment but I looked at the controller after I disposed of the box it came in. I received this on deployment and to my disappointment the chameleon cover has markings on it that don't feel like scratches but blemishes in the paint. Works fine just upset at how it looks. I would have returned it but if I do it while deployed I wont get another for another 2 months. Well either way make sure to check the condition and don't be like me and throw away the box it comes in. ... show more
