The photos attached are some of the recent photos of projects that I’ve done with my press. I love to play with this equipment. It makes crafting easy and fun. This is the third press that I bought. It is the only one that I adore. The first one was the CRICUT easy press, which just was an overpriced one trick pony. I returned it. I bought VEVOR 11 in one press and it was complete garbage. It came broken. I returned it. With the VEVOR press, it did not heat to a consistent temperature. Plus, like I said it came broken with screws and a control panel that was all scratched up. The CRICUT auto press is always on target. It heats right up to what it says. It’s going to heat too. The pressure is perfect, I love that it does the work for me. I have used it with license plates, Jewelry, clothing, other textiles, mouse pads… Everything is perfect. I use it in conjunction with my Jennifer Maker sublimation cookbook, which I have right on my workbench. It sits right next to my PYD life sublimation oven and my Epson ET 15000 printer which has been converted to sublimation with hippo ink. This makes crafting fun! Here’s another fun part: Amazon decreased the price to 50%. I had a $100 promotional coupon and another $60 promotional coupon so I got this press for a song. my heart is happy. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this heat press after a negative experience with another popular brand (cheaper, auto press that broke after 1 month) I recommend doing research and determining if an automatic heat press vs traditional is better for you (tons of YouTube videos to help you decide before spending the money) Pros: It is easy to close, just a gentle press down and it will do the rest. It will automatically open when finished. Nice, sleek design. Can be stored upright if needed which is great if you’re needing to store it when not in use. The separate pad to adjust heat and time makes it quick to adjust settings and you can save 4 presets to change between easily. This heat press heats to temp in just 1-2 minutes. Comes with press pillow. The top is cool to touch with the use of a fan (which is pretty loud just fyi). You can also press thick items which you can’t always do with traditional clamshell heat presses and that is an added bonus. Also has an auto shut off after not using. Cons: you cannot adjust the pressure since it’s automatic. I actually use an extra press pillow to create more pressure when pressing items such as baby onesies. Originally wasn’t sure if the temp was accurate but I have been setting it to the recommended heat settings for my vinyl and it seems to be fine, some times I still increase it by 10-20 degrees when needed. Other notes: The heat press weights >50 pounds. Set up was easy- you will need to plug the usb into your computer first to set up. Took less than 10 minutes to unbox and do my first press. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and feel this was a good option for my small business. Will update if any issues arise. Update 6 months later: everything is still working fine with no issues. I had no idea what’s HUGE difference this would make for me! I always found the traditional heat press intimidating and a little scary. This is nothing like that! Easy to use, terrific for beginners and pros alike! I especially like the safety features and the fact that this can be tucked away when not in use. Even leaving this out is a better option, since it is sleek and looks like a high end machine. Yes, it is very pricey, but I know that it will pay for itself and be a great option in the long run for making my life easier. If you are able….do it! You won’t regret it! ... show more

I love the auto press because it takes away the pressure variability if using the other Cricut press. I rated this a 4 because Amazon gave me a dud the first time and I had to go through Cricut to get a replacement - a process that you need to be on top of and could take a bit of time. But Cricut was very helpful and shipped me a new one once they saw that the other one wasn’t working. They didn’t want the other machine back so,,,, i have a dud (very heavy dud) in my garage. ... show more

    • Didn't work with either original or replacement contorl pod

After setting up the machine, the control pod did not come on. I called Cricut and asked for a new control pod. The customer service agent insisted that he had to replace the whole 75lb machine and that I could dispose of the current one. 2 weeks later a single control pod showed up. Thank goodness I didn't listen to the agent and kept the orginal machine. I was then told that the direction had been changed to only send a control pod. I tried the replacement control pod, and it still did not work. I packed up the whole machine and returned it to Amazon for a full refund. I'll be looking for another brand of press. I can't recommend this one. ... show more
