My 2 year old child absolutely loves these tools. The lawn mower isn't that great of a lawn mower. It is very flimsy and the handle keeps falling and is kinda short for my child. The noise is definitely better than the bubbles though that comes in the fisher price lawn mowers. I wish the leaf blower had a bit more blowing power to it but it can blow a few dry leaves. The weed wacker makes an orange light as It whirls around. The weed wacker is kinda flimsy as well, but definitely works. The chain saw and the goggles and gloves are definitely a hit! We will take twigs and have him "cut them" as we snap them in half. He thinks it is the best thing since cheese sticks! ... show more

    • Realistic, great sounds, good size for my 2 year old and bonus...the leaf blower actually blows a little!
I got my son this set for his 2nd Birthday. I saw the box and thought that something was missing because it was so small but everything was there. By far, my son favorite is the weed eater. The lights and sounds really grab his attention. My favorite is the leaf blower (yes, I play with his toys). It actually moves tiny, light weight, leaves and pieces of grass. I didn't expect it to actually work so I was pleasantly surprised. The only problem I experienced was in less than a month after the purchase, the weed eater broke. I figured because my son uses it so much, it was out of batteries already. I changed the batteries and it still didn't work. I happened to get an email from the company the following Tuesday asking for a review. It said that if I had any issues to give them a chance to fix it before I write the review. So I replied to that email, letting them know that it was broken. They replied within 3 hours, saying they're sorry for the trouble and that they'll ship me a brand new set. I was to take out the working weed eater, put the old, broken weed eater in the box and return it using the label they provide. It took less than a week to get the new set and my son is again playing with the weed eater. FYI..he doesn't use the gloves or glasses, he has no interest in them at all. I keep the mower and chain saw at my mom’s so he always has something to play with there and the other 2 are home with us. 4 fun toys for $60? I was going to pay more for just the leaf blower so I'm thankful I found this set. Overall, great buy, realistic, hours of fun, and easy to return if necessary.     • All looked good and initially we were thrilled
The item arrived on time and as expected. All looked good and initially we were thrilled, as my 4 year old grandson was waiting with bated breath to see and play with everything. Sadly, however, after batteries were placed in items and others assembled for his arrival tomorrow, the toy lawn mover had a rattle in it and there was no obvious way to get into the mower to see if the problem was "fixable"or not. Called Amazon in hopes of returning just the mower for repair or replacement but was told that was not an option and that the entire package had to be returned. Iwill be refunded but have to start the process all over again. Disappointing for a rather expensive toy set. It would seem that items should be checked prior to mailing to ensure all is in order. If that is done and the problem was a result of shipping, perhaps items need to be better packaged and protected for shipping. In any case, my grandson will get to see it tomorrow; I will explain the situation, which will be difficult and disappointing for a 4 year old even though he is very bright. Luckily, he is not here every day so perhaps we will have a complete and fully operational replacement set on his next visit. Thank you. Tara ... show more

Super cute and durable! I have a rough and tumble kid that could tear up a rock and it holds up! No easy to pop off parts to be lost! Snaps and locks together super easy and quick! Took less than a minute per piece that needed assembly. Definite win!

    • Not worth it...
We had this product for a week before we started having problems. I have 2 young boys who love watching yard work videos on youtube and thought these would great. At first they were, but I was wrong. The weed eater was the first to have a problem. It will run on it's own randomly, and you have to smack it to get it to stop. Small problem, but a sign of more to come. The chainsaw stopped working one day, so I went to check it, and the battery compartment was starting to warp. I got the cover off and discovered one of the batteries had swollen badly and was causing a lot of heat. I took the whole thing apart to see where the issues may be, but when I found the problem it was not worth the work or money to fix it. The mower has a cover that is only secured by 1 screw, and not well. It got yanked of and broke the plastic so it wont go back on and be stable. Also, the wheel can be broken off remarkably easy. The leaf blower works great though! ... show more

My son wouldn't let me return these but unfortunately 2 of the toys broke even before they worked and just low quality the amount spent on it

    • Great lawn care fun
As we neared my son's fourth birthday, I wanted a gift for him that would allow him to live out his lawnmowing dreams. No, I'm not kidding. My kid wakes up out of a dead sleep for lawnmowers. He even pretended to use a rock as a trimmer before. This toy set has been perfect for him. Three of the toys (trimmer, blower, and chainsaw) took three AA batteries. I had to assemble the handle to the lawnmower, but it was only three pieces and went together easily. My one complaint is that because of where the batteries are (under the handle), it was difficult to put one of the batteries into the blower. The trimmer and blower both light up. The three battery toys make motorized sounds (the best is the chainsaw, which has an idling sound and a cutting sound). The blower actually blows out air. The lawnmower makes some noise, but is very quiet compared to the others. My son loves that it has a working pull cord. The size is great for a four or five year old. My son is at the top end of height for his age and the toys are just right for him. I recommend these toys to any parent whose child is interested in yard work. The most difficult part so far has been convincing my son that the yard work could wait until he had a good night's sleep. ... show more
