I caught this plant on sale when someone I follow on Instagram posted the link. $35 was a steal! I'd never purchased an unseen plant and was skeptical, but Gigi looks excellent! I repotted her, but she will need something bigger than the planter she came with, as her roots are super long. I have a pretty nifty plant collection, but I've never owned a plant as big as Gigi. If I'm successful with her, a monstera will be next. So, if things are great, why only ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? When I originally ordered this plant on 9/5, the delivery date was Wednesday, September 13, which worked out because I’d be traveling and wouldn't return until the 12th. Well, on Friday, 9/8, I received an email that Gigi was coming while I was out of town. What?! And she was coming by UPS, which required a signature for delivery. I was so excited for this fiddle leaf plant from Costa Farms. I opened the box immediately so it wouldn't suffocate or die from lack of light, but it looked like it was boxed weeks earlier. The lower, older leaves were brown and cracked and covered in a white dust. The upper, newer leaves were limp and are barely hanging on. I repotted it, cleaned the leaves (carefully), put near a window with good indirect light and made sure the soil is not overwatered. Less than a week later the leaves are falling off and the remaining ones have brown spots. There is no way this was a fresh healthy plant that was packaged to order. I cannot recommended Costa Farms if they are not willing to replace it. ***UPDATE*** Costa Farms made good and shipped a replacement tree that is a true 4ft tree full of leaves and healthier than the previous one. Still not sure I would buy plants online again but Costa stands by their products and that earns them a 4-star review ... show more

Shipping was fast, and the packaging was decent. I was excited to finally have a taller fig tree than the small fig tree I already owned. I usually buy Figs in-store in the smaller sizes and admire the taller, expensive figs. This purchase allowed me to purchase a taller fig. However, the size, in comparison, is somewhat smaller than 3-4 feet. The plant seemed to be measured by the leaf length rather than the steam length, which measures under 2 feet. ... show more

My fiddle leaf fig arrived today, 3 days earlier than expected, which I was super happy about! It was packaged well and the plant is healthy and beautiful. The only disappointment is that at approximately 21”, it doesn’t even reach 2 ft tall, let alone the 2-3 ft I ordered and paid for. Overall I love Costa farms and have been very pleased with the quality of plants and shipping, but I wish the plant was the correct size. ... show more

I bought two fiddle leaf eggs in March of this year, five days apart. After the plants settled in, they have been a easy to care for and simply beautiful to look They are very finicky about being moved around. Once you find a good place with bright light. Leave them there! My fiddles are in 10 inch containers. I watered them weekly with 2 1/2 to 3 cups of water. I use a time release fertilizer on these two plants and they seem to be very happy as each one has grown approximately six or seven new leaves, some of which are almost 11 inches in diameter! Both plants are now at least 4 feet tall. The pic of both of them was taken in May, and the single pic of one plant was taken sometime in August. NOTE: I bought my two plants in March 2023. They are planted in nursery pots that were placed in the decorative baskets as shown. Shortly after I bought mine, Costa Farms switched from the basket to the white decorative container. Plants in the nursery pots are still in the same. Frankly, I would’ve preferred the white container, but it was not available at the time, but aside from the basket rather than the white pot, the plant is the same size at roughly the same price. Tree came 5 days earlier than expected 😍 Tree itself looks way better than I thought it would, looking healthy and vibrant. It was packed well and no leaf fell down during transportation. I bought three plants from Costa Farms and I love them all but this one was wrapped so tightly at the bottom that there were 6 leaves torn off laying on the plastic wrap.
