These patches work great for covering open blemishes, which allows me to put makeup on them without the makeup aggravating the open wound. I don't use these for fighting acne because plain hydrocolloid patches don’t fight acne. Their job is to cover an open wound to help keep it clean and to turn any fluid seeping out of the wound into that white gel. I’ve seen people put these patches on closed pimples on their face and think that the white gel that formed on the patch is pus that somehow got sucked out of their pimple. Hydrocolloid doesn’t magically seep into the skin and then pull pimple gunk out onto the patch. You can actually put one of these patches on a clear part of your face and the natural oils that seep out from your skin will turn into the white gel substance on the patch. So all in all, I think these patches work great for what they were intended for. (FYI, my included review image doesn’t show the entire amount of patches I received in the package. These are my favorite pimple patches. I have been using COSRX for years and I used to use the original patches before I was able to fine these. Once I got a hold of these, I couldn't go back to the originals. These patches are thinner and less visible on the skin. They get the job done fast and easy. My husband also swears by these patches. I wish they sold a 5 or 10 pack of these because we go through them like candy. If you're looking for pimple patches that work and aren't obvious, you need to try these. ... show more

These patches are great. They're a bit pricey so I use them only during the day (and use a cheap one at home). However, they are great for day use as they're not shiny or plastic-looking which tends to draw more attention - they're more matte. I wear NW45 in mac and they blend nicely into my skin

    • Pretty close to perfect.
These clear fit patches are way thinner then the original CosRX patches, so they're a lot more flush with your skin. I would say they are invisible when worn on bare skin if it wasn't for the fact that the material is a heck of a lot shinier then the original CosRX patches. Basically whenever your face is exposed to light it will reflect off the patch. They do a great job of protecting your skin and siphoning gunk out of your acne spots, but if you plan on wearing makeup over these, they don't hold pigment very well. I use CosRX's blemish control cushion and it slips and slides right off the patches so that I have makeup-even skin tone all over my face except one perfectly round very red circle on my chin. The edges of the patch especially stand out after a few hours when the makeup seeps under the patch a little and has wiped off on the top of the patch. Overall I still really like this product and use them constantly. Even with makeup on they're still way more manageable to hide then any other patch out there. Most are to thick and don't hold pigment AT ALL. Just keep in mind you may have to reapply you're makeup on the patch periodically. I first got these at a local Korean skincare store, but as I was running out decided I HAD to get more. I don't break out much but when I do, I cannot resist picking. These have helped so much not in just reducing my ability to touch it all the time, but it significantly reduces the time for healing. It is barely noticable on my face and I think it's a great product. Usually lasts about 1-2 days before it gets a little gunky. I've even gotten it wet and it's been fine. I do not wear makeup so I can't say how it fares under a foundation. ... show more

These patches are not as effective as the originals for healing pimples and I haven't found them to be invisible under makeup. They are all one size, so I can't cover large blemishes. They difficult to remove from the backing and get messed up easily, so they don't adhere well to my skin. I'll stick with the healing patches. ... show more
