I just got this super cool Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner for our above ground pool, and let me tell you, it's amazing! It cleans the pool all by itself so I can spend more time swimming and less time cleaning. First off, this pool cleaner is so easy to use. All I have to do is charge it up, drop it into the water, and turn it on. It starts cleaning! It can suck up leaves, sand, gravel, and even floating algae from the bottom of the pool. The motors make it super fast too, so it covers a lot of ground quickly. It can handle slopes up to 10 degrees without any problems, which is really impressive. The robot is really smart too.     • It works well...but read the fine print.
So...I've always been curious about these pool cleaners...and the opportunity popped up to try this...so I jumped on the chance. Now...these things are odd...when I was putting it together...I couldn't understand how it moved around and picked up the stuff from the pool...I really had my doubts...but now I get it. FINE PRINT: these little robots will not work well if you have a steepish slope on your pool. We have a nice size pool...not too deep but goes down to about 10 feet...with a slight slope from 4 to 10...but that slight slope makes a difference in the effectiveness of these guys. So...they way these work is it pushes water out two ducts...its propulsion is shooting water out the top which moves it along, and also draws in the water from the bottom picking up dirt and stuff and holding inside the compartment and filtering out the trash with a screen on the inside...there is this "flag" thingy that moves back and forth that changes the water port flowing to move back and forth. I figure that if it looses forward mobility enough...like hitting a wall or moving slowly up a slope, the flag thing resets and makes the device move in the opposite direction. Now, if its on the flat area...works great...just going back and forth leisurely picking up the junk on the bottom. as soon as it hits that slope to try to go up, it slows down enough...the flag moves back cause its not moving...and then goes back down again...so basically...just doesn't move fast enough to get up the slope and it thinks it needs to go back the other way. So...this works as designed...but as it warns...works on flat pool surfaces...not very well with slopes. I'm still going to use this on the weekends when i can sorta keep an eye on it...or if i just need the deep end cleaned very thoroughly...this will definitely do that. like the product...I may try to fiddle with the flag and see if I can hard wire it to one direction and just have it race car around the pool...we'll see... ... show more

    • Save me much time and effort cleaning the pool
This pool cleaner is super easy to use. After charging it, all I need to do is press the start button and drop it into the water. It automatically begins cleaning the bottom of the pool, sucking up dirt, leaves, small stones, and other debris into its filter net. I simply wait for a few dozen minutes while it cleans every corner of the pool. If the pool is large or very dirty, it might take 2 to 3 rounds of cleaning to get it thoroughly clean. When it runs out of battery, I can easily hook it out using a hook, clean the filter net, and recharge it. Maintenance is a breeze. I've been using it for over a month now, and it's kept my pool very clean, saving me a lot of time and effort. It's an excellent helper for anyone who owns a pool at home. ... show more

All I need to do is charge the battery and drop the cleaner into the pool – it’s that simple! Once it’s in, the cleaner automatically goes to work, cruising around and picking up debris from the pool floor. The first time I used it, I left it in for about an hour and when I came back, the pool was noticeably cleaner.
