We've only had the pillow a few days, but so far, it's been fantastic. Soft, squishy, and adjustable in that you can remove whatever amount of filling you need to. It arrived in perfect condition - clean, new, and it fluffed out to the full size in just a few minutes. We got the "toddler" size, and we are ADULTS! I was in the market for a toddler pillow and came across this brand. I love that it’s Greenguard Certified and it’s super soft! My husband and I were jealous so we have purchased the queen size for ourselves! I love that you can remove the foam to make it as cushy as you want.

I had another highly rated toddler pillow for my granddaughter, but it was way too puffy. So I decided to look again, and this one is perfect! It is not too puffy, so her head is perfectly situated in the bed, not angled up like with the old pillow. Thanks so much!!

    • Important to know about washing... !!! [UPDATED/UPGRADED]
Coop Home Goods - Toddler Pillow (14x19) - Hypoallergenic Cross-Cut Memory Foam... : Okay, first of all, who knew there was such a thing as a Toddler Pillow!?! And, that it would be perfect for me?!! This is a perfect pillow for several reasons: (EDITED under #5) 1) I sleep in a hammock so regular pillows are WAY too big. This is a perfect size. 2) It is adjustable! That means it has zipper access to the stuffing so if it's too firm or too high, take some stuffing out and it will be better. If you need more than what comes in it, maybe go to a bigger pillow. This one comes stuffed pretty full. In fact, I can't imagine a toddler being able to get its head on it comfortably, but then, I never imagined there was such a thing as a toddler pillow. :-D 3) Important to know about washing this thing; I washed mine and good Lord did it take on water!! This is full of little sponges and it soaks up and holds onto water like I've never seen, and I have other Memory Foam pillows that I wash. This thing was so heavy with water I thought with all the noise my machines were making that they were coming out of the closet to get me!! :-D Make sure you put at least two pillows in the washer to balance this water bomb. 4) Also important: Per manufacturer's instructions, I had this in the dryer for about two and a half hours. I was excited to try it out, but because of the fluffiness from all that time in the dryer, the pillow was pushing my head up higher than I wanted. So I got up to remove some of the stuffing. That's where I got the big surprise - the inner stuffing was still very wet!! It is so tightly packed in there that the inside stuff never stood a chance at drying. If you are worried about mold or even that much moisture under your toddler's head, take heed and get yourself a mesh bag to put all the stuffing in when you dry it. Or, do like I did and just pull it all out and put it in boxes under a ceiling fan all night. I am ordering a mesh bag for the next wash! 5) Finally, why only 4 stars? The zipper*! Poor design! Why would you skimp there??? The way this zipper is designed, the pull pulls the back of the zipper. I know! Right? What that means is that when you use the zipper pull to try to close the zipper, you are forcing the leading edge of the zipper downward. That, coupled with the significant spread of the teeth make it impossible to re-zip. Opening it is easy. Remember, you're pulling on the back side of it. Closing it is the problem. I found that using hemostats on the front part of the zipper (or needle nose pliers or the like) works well and it zips easily. That's because you're pulling on the business part (leading edge) of the zipper. That seems kind of important and like a pretty big oversight to me. Not a deal breaker because for such a pillow, I am willing to fuss a little. ------------------------------------- EDIT*: I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE. I changed the rating from 4 to 5 stars because the pillow itself has a "regular" YKK locking zipper which pulls properly. The zipper I called into question is on a COOP HOME GOODS pillow CASE. That's what was giving me fits. Not the zipper on the actual pillow. I noticed this last night when I went to add a little bit of stuffing back in. (very nice feature!) (I have left the original review in tact for transparency but have upgraded the rating to 5 stars.) ------------------------------------- So, I just re-stuffed it to what feels right and I still have enough stuff left over for another pillow!! All things considered, this is a great pillow. It will pack down smaller than the camp pillows I've been using for travel. Fits beautifully in a hammock. Light weight. Lighter than the camp pillows. OH! and just to mention, it did have a very faint odor when I first opened it, but it is gone now. That is not unexpected. ... show more

The pillow is great quality. I bought it to be a travel pillow Because I have neck and shoulder pain. I have a Queen size pillow from Coop That I use at home, That I absolutely love and highly recommend. Needed something to be able to travel with to hopefully help Keep the pain away. A soft, squishy, malleable pillow I selected to use as a (adult) travel pillow. It's pretty comfortable for the purpose-- much better than traditional (U-shaped) travel pillows which all seem to be designed for small people but based on forcing your neck into some weird forward angle that doesn't make sense. No smell at all after letting it air out on day one and trying the suggested "tumble-dry low" per other reviews. It's squishy but doesn't go completely flat. You can fold it double. Reasonable both behind my head or under my elbow-- those airplane arm rests are hard, so I actually used it under my arm mostly. Toddler pillow cases fit it perfectly. I had to chose between this and the same-sized (but denser) Coop Travel & Camp pillow. I picked the toddler pillow because this version is quite a bit lighter than the other, which was important for air travel. And it's presumably more squishable for wedging into odd airplane or car spaces. If you're going to sleep on it (horizontal) consider the denser camp pillow. But for upright use, I think this one will be more comfortable. If you're going to fly with it, you'll either have to smash this into your carryon, or get a stuff-sack (it doesn't come with one, unlike the travel version). I'm surprisingly pleased with it and will consider other Coop pillows in the future. ... show more

My preschooler loves this pillow. She’s had a few of them and loves them. Easy to wash and they come out of the was even more fluffy and comfortable for her. We’ve purchased 3 of these because we keep forgetting them on vacation with how small they are. Perfect size for her! Not Setting!
