Yes, this does in fact take away yellow for sure. I bought to use with the shampoo. I found out about this product on a blog which said Fudges is one of the very best purple shampoo products on the market. So, I gave it a try and I was not disappointed. Fudges delivered and fixed a horrible coloring job. I continued to use the product frequently because I also like the slight purple tint it gives the platinum blonde, but this is only because of frequent and prolonged use. If you have blonde hair and are looking to not be yellow, once a week or two weeks should be enough to keep the color nice. ... show more

Awesome product. I love this conditioner. I have been using the Fudge Clean Blonde products for a few months. I tried this conditioner for the first time. Even better than the Fudge conditioner I was using. This helps my hair with breaking and makes it feel and look great!

By far the best purple shampoo out there- conditions hair nicely but also leave a grey/violet tent which is very eye catching I do recommend this to all blondes out there rather natural or not
