I hike with my dog 4 miles a day in the PNW. My feet stay relatively dry for the first 6 months. They hold up pretty well. No breaking them period. Comfortable from day one. Shoe has been discontinued as it seem that all the good water resistasnt shoes seem to be short lived through Columbia.

These shoes fit like sneakers, out of the box comfort. Gusset tounge to keep our debris, 200gm insulation will be tested in the coming winter months as for waterproof tomorrow is heavy rains in NYC, let's see how they hold up. That's why they get a 4/5 rating.

Looks expensive. I was afraid that they would look cheap. They are very light but seem to be constructed very well. The tread is very thick and strong. I can't wait for the cold weather to try them.
