Description

This blade features a thin kerf, which makes it ideal for saws that are a bit underpowered, but at the same time this tool delivers great performance. You will be satisfied with the excellent price/quality ratio. The laser cut heavy-duty blade plate is hardened to allow for great resistance (46-48 Rockwell in hardness) and features expansion slots to reduce noise and anti-vibration design. The teeth are made of micrograin carbide to ensure long-lasting cutting performance and deliver smooth cut on wood and wood products. These are brazed to the blade body through a special trimetallic bond (copper-silver-copper), so that longer cut performance and resistance are guaranteed. Blade is delivered in a unique CMT plastic case. From the Manufacturer CMT's ITK Fine Cut-off Blades are the ideal choice for extra-clean cuts and very good all-around performance on table saws and miter saws. Thanks to our new thin kerf design, it removes a smaller cross-section of stock on each cut, reducing drag on your saw and material waste. Offered in 10", 12" and 14" diameters with a pattern of one flat-top and two 20º ATB teeth, this blade delivers excellent crosscuts in wood or plywood, beautiful plywood rips, and even does a nice job on the occasional rip in hard or soft wood. CMT's Industrial Thin Kerf blades are precision balanced for incredibly true cuts and include the latest in expansion slots and sound-dampening channels, features that translate directly into premium cutting performance. And when you choose an ITK blade, you also receive CMT's Anti-Kickback Design, Tri-Metal Brazing and Laser Cut Arbors, plus laser-marked safety instructions and illustrated resharpening information.

  • Cuts through soft and hardwood like a hot knife through butter
Got this blade for my DeWalt miter saw. The blade that came with the saw was a 32 tooth blade… that one is fine if you’re just framing, but for furniture making it’s hot garbage. This 80 tooth cuts way better and I haven’t had any chip-out in my cuts… and the build quality of this blade is noticeably better too. ... show more

  • Extremely Sharp!
Extremely sharp, make each cut very smooth, good on veneered plywood as well as 2 x material, very satisfied.

  • Best bang for my buck
I'm a pro trim carpenter and I've just put this blade at the top of my list for paint grade work with my chop style miter saw. It won out on a side by side comparison to a new red blade that's been my go to for this application. The aggressive 15 degree positive hook and the 20 degree grind allows me to work at a fast pace with minimal tear out. This profile also puts less load on the saw. The kerf and plate is a little thicker which means less deflection, another plus for fast paced work. The blade runs true with no wobble and is absolutely the quietest blade in my arsenol. It does however leave slight swirls after the cut in the end grain, just as all my other mid range price blades. My premium blades with negative hook angles leave no swirls, but cost three times as much and work two times slower. Those are used for prefinished cabinet grade work. This blade will pay the bills! ... show more

  • Best mitre blade at any price.
This blade will exceed any expectations that you might have. Don’t over think this. This will be the best blade that you will have ever owned. I promise you!

  • Excellent!
I'm a professional finish carpenter. Over the course of 30 years in business I've used every blade on the market. These CMT blades are as good, if not better, than Forrest. (the only two brands I buy) I keep a number of them in rotation and once a year I send them all to Forrest to be sharpened.

  • rough cut only
I expect an 80 tooth blade to give a smooth cut no sanding required. This blade has a rough cut on one side and a smooth cut on the opposite side. The teeth were not dressed uniform but on one side leaving some uneven carbide on the other side. This is not acceptable in any cabinet shop or any craftsman's shop. I would not recommend this blade to even a rank amateur. Quality should mean something and this is not quality. ... show more
