  • Very good resin
Size: 2 Gallon
I've been using this epoxy resin for years. I've probably bought over 20 gallons of it. It's very good! One tip I have to get the best result 1.) Measure out the resin and hardener into two separate waterproof disposable plastic cups 2.) Place the cups in a sink, fill the sink with hot water until the cups have water up to the same height as the resin and hardener. (Be sure to keep the resin and hardener away from the water!) 3.) Set a timer for 10 minutes to let the cups soak in the heat 4.) Go about the recommended mixing instructions after the 10 minutes are up If you heat it up this way prior to mixing, you'll have a lot easier time mixing, it'll pour smoother, and you'll get TONS less bubbles. After pouring I barely ever have to pop many bubbles with a heat gun when I follow this pre-heat method. When I mixed this at room temperature in the past, I've had lots of little bubbles that were difficult to pop out with a heat gun or torch. It's a great product all around. Very clear. Very strong end result. Reasonable price too. I highly recommend! ... show more

  • Good stuff
Size: 1 Gallon
So far only just started using this resin but it is working well for what I need. Started with just casting color index pieces to test my pigments. Only had one fail yo cure properly and pretty sure that was a user issue not product. Will be using for casting dice in the future.

  • Great for crafting
Size: 1 Gallon
I use a lot of resin in my craft work. This resin was very easy to work with, dried very clear with minimal bubbles and low VOC. I’ve done some deep castings, as well as table top work, and it works very well with both.

  • Resin novice
Size: 1 Gallon
I just started working with resin about 6 weeks ago and I'm completely hooked. This is the first (and so far the only) brand of resin I've worked with and so far I'm quite happy with it. I've only purchased the gallon size (just purchased my second gallon set) since it's a far better value than the smaller sizes. I knew I'd go through it pretty quickly because I'm still learning and making lots of fun mistakes. I haven't noticed any yellowing, although most of my pieces have a good amount of color in them. Bubbles are definitely an issue, as with any resin, but heating the epoxy (the really gooey stuff) by placing your resin cup in another cup of hot water for 10 minutes prior to mixing will help with some of the more stubborn bubbles. The hardener is really thin and bubbles are able to escape much easier. Once mixed, you half about a good half hour working time, at which point the resin will start getting thick and won't pour/mix as easily. Pour in thin layers, hit lightly with a heat gun, and pour more layers. Fish out any bubbles along the edges of the mold with a toothpick. This stuff takes a full 24 hours to cure, and maybe even 48 hours for thinner pieces. The (2) half gallon bottles come packaged very thoroughly to ensure no leaks! I was very impressed with that, as we've all received a bottle of something from Amazon that was missing half its contents. This time around, I decided to also purchase some pumps dispensers (GETi Beauty SalonTop Gallon size) to assist with getting the resin from the bottle to the measuring cups. If you decide to go that route, be sure to place your hardener (the really smelly stuff) in a well ventilated area, since it will essentially be "open" at all times due to the nature of the pump. All in all, the price is fair, it's good quality resin, not as smelly as the stuff my friend uses, and nice working time. Buy it. You won't regret it. ... show more

  • Great for beginners and measurements must be exact.
Size: 1 Gallon
As casting epoxy goes, this is a fairly good product if your using a color pigment. Your measurements have to be exact, or you'll run into issues i.e. extreme heat, stretching, cracking, and air bubbles throughout. This product does get completely hard unlike similar products. I would recommend this to all beginners. ... show more

  • The best
Size: 1 Gallon
I will forever use this brand. I’ve used other brands in the past, but none held up to what they claimed. This resin always dries hard, clear, & the few bubbles you get can be torched out with a lighter. I recommend this brand to everyone I know who asks me which resin to use & is getting into resin art. ... show more

  • Affordable quality
Size: 1 Gallon
Very easy to use. I like how they kept it simple with a 1:1 mix ratio. It takes pigments (I’ve used acrylic paint, glow powder, and pearl pigment powder) very well. Haven’t had any huge issues with bubbles in the molds I’m using, especially considering they are slightly over the 6oz recommended amount for casting molds for a single pour. It cures very strong and fairly quickly for molds which is a huge bonus. Will be applying this to a flat piece soon to test out the flood coat capabilities, but I’m not expecting it to disappoint. Thanks for the great product. Will be ordering another kit soon ... show more
