I love my bench with the exception of one thing, it was way too low. I didn’t realize how low this would be until I actually assembled and put it in my room. It almost seems quite suitable for a child’s room based on the height. However, I loved it so much due to the sturdiness and really wanted to keep it so I did some adjustments. I bought taller legs and it changed everything about this bench. The bench is quite sturdy with the shorter legs and with these taller legs, it remains just as sturdy. The storage on the inside is a plus and I’m happy with this purchase. It did require additional spending for these new legs, but so worth the buy. Love this, classy and comfy, just the right finishing touch with bonus storage! It fits so nicely at the end of the bed and just adds a nice accent to the decor, while being useful. Photos are next to my Queen size, 26” tall bed, with longer 10” replacement legs. Gave it 4 stars only because I had to replace the legs with 10” (comes with 3”); that’s the only thing that’s wrong with this and that is easily amenable. Hopefully the manufacturer will listen to reviews, the bench is too short with the 3” legs. ... show more

I use this peice at the foot of my bed to add texture and function to the space. The item arrived as expected, packaged well without any damage. The color is as described as well as the dimentions. Im very happy with this and the price was great. Id easily have paid double to tripple for it where I live. The quality is great as it is Very stable and firm which is what I needed. It arrived with screws missing for the brackets, one of the legs has a chip missing & threads hanging. The bench is nice looking, but incredibly low to the ground, not the size I imagined. We are sending it back due to the defects. This is a nice piece for a very small area. I took a picture showing how small, you can see the bench is lower than the electrical outlet on the wall!!! ... show more

Ottoman is very short. Nice fabric, length is fine but the one I received had some fabric that was pulled from the bottom. The legs of the ottoman were in really bad shape. They were all scratched up. I don’t even think this is worth returning because it’s such a large item.

This bench is exactly what i wanted aesthetically and functionally in my home. It's the perfect height to help my little puppy jump onto the tall bed, it stores all my sweaters, and it's very sturdy. The only downside is that the previously mentioned dog now runs full speed and banks off the bench, which is sitting on some hardwood floors, and it slides around due to the force. I wish it had some sort of grippy pads, but the legs don't really leave a lot of flat surface against the floor to make that possible. Overall still very cute and functional.     • IT IS SHORTER THAN IT APPEARS!!!
The photos of this item are setup to make it appear larger than it is. Pay attention to the measurements listed for height. It sits very low to the ground and is not standard bench height. Although it is listed here as a bench, when it arrives, all the documentation says Ottoman (which is appropriate given its height). Construction seems to be fairly solid. However when I opened it I found that the screws on the right side hinge of the lid were not properly inserted and had to tightened all three. The legs are easy to install, but there is no guidance on the instructions as to which direction they should face. I had to play with it a bit to get them installed in the right orientation. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to return this or not. I was definitely expecting something taller than what I received. ... show more
