This set definitely seems like it's worth the price. It equals out to roughly one dollar a tub. The tubs have a lot of product in them and should last quite awhile, depending on how long the nails are that you are applying it to. These powders are very fine and could be used as dip powders, as well as the acrylic application. There are 8 glitter colors in this set and the rest are solid. I really like this set. Yes, it is not a ‘complete beginner set’ but I still think it’s a good value set. You can always get the liquids separately. I personally just want to expand the collection and don’t need the bottles with activator and tops. 36 colors! I like that they are all very different. From pastel to neon, from white to black. The jars are decent size. The powder is finely milled. It doesn’t say dip powder, but acrylic powder. But honestly it’s the same thing. Happy with the product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love the variety of colors in this set! The powder is extremely fine. The powder goes on very smoothly and is a great addition to any acrylic dip nail collection. The acrylic dip powder is different than regular powder in that the activator is extremely different. I happen to use these with a gel polish and they work great. The color turns out beautifully and the top coat works well to use with these powders. I only need two to three coats and that works perfect. Using it with gel gives the strength of acrylic with the flexibility of gel. Using these without the gel is just as beautiful and It is easy to learn how to use properly with online videos. I would suggest viewing a few videos before getting your nails wet. This is a fantastic beginner set with a lot of colors.
